"Footprints," about a troubled soul who fears that God has left him when he looks back after a trying journey and sees only one set of footprints.
It turns out that God had carried the man through the hard times.

Why do people give God the "credit" for human action?

In my own reading I noticed Genesis seems like it was pasted from two different authors who didnt know the other said something different.

Taken from another post-

GE 1:3-5 On the first day, God created light, then separated light and darkness.
GE 1:14-19 The sun (which separates night and day) wasn't created until the fourth day.

GE 1:11-12, 26-27 Trees were created before man was created.
GE 2:4-9 Man was created before trees were created.

GE 1:20-21, 26-27 Birds were created before man was created.
GE 2:7, 19 Man was created before birds were created.

GE 1:24-27 Animals were created before man was created.
GE 2:7, 19 Man was created before animals were created.

GE 1:26-27 Man and woman were created at the same time.
GE 2:7, 21-22 Man was created first, woman sometime later.

According to Leviticus 17:12-14, I'll be "cut off" if I eat a nice juicy, medium-rare steak. What exactly is meant by "cut off"? Or, is it meaningless because it's old testament? Can my food preferences actually be sinful??

I never talk to a person that has my interest in the bible people, first I really believe it and think the time is from new moon to new moon which makes it the same for them as it does for me, they based it on 360 days with a make-up system to get 365 days.
I know that this is no part of salvation requrements, but I do trust the Word to be the Word and to give me facts.
Noah and Shem was said to have come through the flood, Shem died 25 years before the death of Abraham. Isaac was age 50 when Shem died and age 75 when Abraham died, Ishmael was 89, Jacob and Esau was age 15.
If I did not learn this, I could not read this book.
Does any one else do this?

First off, there is no way I can say this without offending someone. If I use the term African American, some people will get angry. If I use the term black, some people will get angry. I have picked a way to describe the people I am talking about while trying not to offend anyone. Please read the question and answer accordingly. My opinion is that anyone who uses it is promoting racism. If white people use the infamous "N" word, black people understandably get angry. Black people use it, but I think this is wrong too. The word is tied to slavery, racism, and persecution. When a black person uses it, and gets angry when other people use it, I believe they are unknowingly (or maybe knowingly) reaffirming that they are to be treated differently from other races which only reaffirms racism and prejudices that anger the same people who use the word. What do you think? Am I off the mark here?

I have been friends with this guy for eight years or longer, we have pretty much been through everything. From the murder of his parent, to the fact he was the first person I came "out" to about my sexuality. In fact, the only reason I did so was because I thought I was falling in love with him. Well, I did fall in love with him to some degree. What exactly that means is beyond me at the moment, easier to not think about it.

Okay, let's make a list
-He has stripped naked for me on more than one occasion.
-Gotten under my blankets and laid on me in nothing but boxers.
-Shown me videos of himself having sex with girls.
-Told me he loves me, though in which manner. Who knows.

Okay, he is straight. As far as I know, far as he has told me over and over again. Though, he has never said no to my suggestion of sex between the two of us. Seemed more curious than anything. But he seems to be afraid it will turn him gay, which I understand the want to not be. I'm confused by all of it.
