My example may not be appropriate. Thus changed to "Chinese" or "China"

If the questions is like this: What is your nationality? Then you write your answer like this: I am Chinese. If they ask: Where are you from? Then you put: I am from China.

Adjective.

"An adjective is a part of speech which modifies a noun, usually describing it or making its meaning more specific."

Britain contains many different nationalities, same as just about any other country.

With an adjective:

British nationality - the nationality is British
like in:
red roses - the roses are red
good morning - the morning is good
old man - the man is old

that should help on some answer boards. maximum folk state the place they are from or what they do because it applies to the question under their materials. If I answer a clean Jersey question i will state that i'm from the state with the aid of fact it must be clever advice in finding out the respond.
