... because of "Piglet"!!

They don´t have to eat pork if it´s against their religion - but what´s the matter with a cartoon piglet?

I have often been to Turkey,
I´m familiar with Islamic habits and eating rules,
I have many Turkish and other Islamic friends!!

I'd never heard of anything like that... But it is true that the TRT is usually obliged to toe the government line pretty carefully. And considering the simplisting thinking common within the present government, it's not surprising that they arrived at 'Pork is bad' = 'pigs are bad' = 'cartoons with pigs are bad'. Last time I checked, people didn't eat bears, kangaroos, 'tiggers' or young children either, but their anthopomorphic forms are uncontroversial on TV...

Tayyip = the enemy of common sense...

* sigh *

Well, there'll be an election here soon enough... Vote Piglet!

I hate Winnie the Pooh, and Tigger too. Especially Tigger. All the characters are so annoying.

Piglet is so cute.
But they don't eat pig because they consider it a dirty animal so maybe they don't want the kids to like a pig???
