I'm with az, I work in a bookshop (used to be a librarian) that also sells cheap art stuff. As a big reader and keen artist, I'm easily distracted by the stock. Oooh! Loookie! An Iain Banks P/B! So yeah, lovin' it. In the words of Billy Connoly- "The trick is, to find something you like doing, and then DO it! Until you get bored with it, THEN DO SOMETHING ELSE! We're here to make babies and look after the place, y'know?" I've yet to come across a better philosophy for a happy life. :)

I'm a pharmacy assistant. Basically, I do everything but the technical stuff, stuff that only the pharmacist can do. Only the pharmacist can read those charts and decipher those warning alerts. I do cashiering, I type prescriptions, I answer phone calls and do almost all data entry into the computer, including registering a person, entering their insurance card, and scanning in their prescriptions.

I HATE my job! It is far too stressful. The reason why I hate healthcare is because the industry is always so understaffed. You have strict schooling requirements which means that people licensed to take healthcare jobs come out less often than patients. For every graduate there is probably 500 injured people. It's a disproportionate turnaround. Healthcare is the last place where a person should work overtime. It requires the utmost in accuracy and a lapse in it could mean someone's life. I don't get the system at all. It's a paradox.

I hate being in my field because if I make a mistake, I feel so guilty for it because it involves someone's comfort and well-being.

My dream job is either a motivational speaker or musician! That's my dream...far from what I'm doing now.

I work for a restaurant supply co., I work nights picking the orders so the drivers can deliver them the next day. I stay in pretty good shape because it's a very pyhsical job, it has alot of lifting. If it wasn't for my buthead supervisor it would be o.k. otherwise it's just a job that pays the bills. I don't believe in going on welfare if your able to work. I don't suffer lazy people very well. how about you?
