Why do people who are different get so much crap from the majority of people whom are supposed to love you most? I come from a mixed race famliy (black and white) and i always find my black side of the famliy the most judgemental. They make fun of me because i don't just listen to rap (i guess all black people are supposed to listen to rap huh?) They make fun of me bacause i get good grades and for READING! They laughed at me and called me a "sellout" beacuse i dated interacially and i want to get out of the ghetto. Why is ignorance the norm with my generation? Didn't Martin Luther King want us to become smart? In order to be equal we gotta have intellegence right? Why do black people invite the sterotypes that so many of them complain about?

If you woke up one day and everyone in the world was completely indifferent and apathetic to you for the rest of your life

Or if you woke up and found yourself to be the only human left on Earth?

I am doing a paper and would like some feedback from the general public. I am looking for a estimated percentage of Pedophiles in our society.

I have read many studies which indicate from 1% all the way to 25% so I am looking for opinions off the street or net i guess.

Keep in mind that a Pedophilia IS an attraction and emotion and NOT an act such as molestation. I am referring to people who have PIMARY sexual attractions for Pre-Pubescent children which are mainly 8-9 and under.

Not all molestation cases indicate pedophilia but can be stemmed from incest or just a person with overcravings for sex and seen kids as easy prey. Not Pedophilia at all.

I am looking for Primary attraction here.
By Primary I mean a person who's desires for kids is GREATER than an adult. Somone who would rather be with a pre-pub child than an adult. It is just hard for me to imagine more than 10% population have stronger sexual desires for kids (prepubescent) than adults.

For some reason I think its absolutely hilarious to watch large groups of people in panic. Like a crowd at the circus that runs from a deranged elephant. LOL. Or a bunch of people watching fireworks when all of a sudden hundreds of fireworks start launching into the audience. I think its so funny watching all the people run all over each other like the world is ending.

War is an armed conflict among people of diverse societies. War is an urgent matter because we possess the technological means to destroy ourselves. Research offers no proof that human beings unavoidably pursue war under any specific situations. Ashley Montagu observes that governments around the world often have to enforce their people to assemble for war. Warfare is like other forms of social behavior. It is an outcome of society that alternates in intention and intensity from place to place. Quincy Wright claims five factors that urge war. They are: perceived threats, social problems, political objectives, moral objectives, and the absence of alternatives.

i like reading all the fun stuff there is about body language and i was noticing that someone i've been involved with physically do some interesting things. we he and i are sitting down and talking on a bench he'll occassionaly lift the lower part of his time up as if to straighten it but he ALWAYS does it like 5 minutes after i do it. i was just curious if that meant anything like subconsciously. also sometimes he would while talking to me rub his nose occasionaly but that was mostly when we were outside. i dont know if it means anything at all just curious if it does. Thanks! :) *Lower part of his tie. Sorry! Lol.
in response to a question. yes we've already been intimate
i like have this tie fetish thingy lol. so i love touching his tie. thats why i aked the question. ill touch it or gently pull it from the base and then later he'll smooth it out or lift it up and smooth it out. hope it makes it clearer :)

There are so many different types of cultures and ideologies in the US. I have said this before" it is safe to say that every country in the world is represented in the US". Why is it so hard for people to be tolerant to other people's beliefs, cultures and ideologies. I get the fact that people disagree about things, why can't people take time out and at least try to understand other peoples beliefs, reasons and rationals?

I continue to see examples of how our society is on a downhill race toward total ignorance. I am a grad student but I have seen some pretty bad examples of blatant ignorance among my classmates. One of them actually wrote higher archy instead of hierarchy. We constantly turn out work that is less than great because we don't seem to care anymore about what we turn out. If it is just good enough, it is fine with us. We don't shoot for excellence. What is the deal? I know I'll get some ignorant comments from people who can't spell but oh well. I guess people get mad when faced with the truth of their weaknesses.

If you’ve single and dating and will only go out with men who make a certain amount of money, who are ‘financially secure’, or if, when meeting a man for the first time, you instantly start prying into his life to find out what he does for a ‘living’, what area of town he lives in, what kind of car he drives (if you’re in a parking lot) to get an instant measure of his income or worth....aren’t you really saying to yourself, to single men and the world in general that you have a price tag, a specific level that your affections, your love, your companionship, can be bought for?

Is his ‘finacial security’ paramount in your dicision to date him? Or is it one of the less important things you consider when getting to know someone?

I’m not talking about extreme cases here, like dating a homeless guy or Bill Gates. I’m talking about average guys vs. doctors, lawyers, etc.

Be honest.
