It seems to me that in American society being introverted is looked at as unusual or a big deal which is ridiculous. Is this neccesarily true? If so why?

Vulcans are emotionless. Well technically, they have emotions, they just hide them really well. How could someone go about achieving this state of being?

Seriously.

I'm in my 20's and have been called an "old soul". I'm also not into clubbing, drinking or partying. I like more simplistic and deeper things I guess. I'm teased about it at times, but just wondering what others think of "old souls"

against immigrants? i noticed lately, news would report and even emphasize a suspect or perpetrator of a crime was an immigrant...or do they merely want to give as much info as possible?..im afraid a new form of strong prejudice would emerge.

Some people would say it's hard to get rich. Some would say it's not that hard.

If for example you know a guy who have $100 million, then you take all his money. I bet this guy could have that kind amount of money again in 1-5 years.

Could you say not all people want to be rich, especially the poor. For me, I think these poor people who want to be rich the most. They just see that good life, but so clueless, and they only know If only they rich, but they just don't know how?

Do you think these poor people is just to lazy, or the environment they live in is not support them?

I have heard some story, about this kid who play crummy guitar in the street, which at last could enter school, but he didn't come school again after just a week. He said he just too lazy to think, and why go to school if he could get some money from the street.

So do you think some people still poor because the way his/her thinking?

Its been wildly said that we live in an "extroverted world." The Extroverts of the worlds have the biggest impacts on society. And yes in many ways thats true. But I was wondering have the introverts of the world impacted soceity? Are there any important intro's who have made a positive change? I ask this as an introvert as well.

Social groups need outsiders to function. It is impossible to build a society which includes everyone. Is having groups with vastly different cultures and attitudes in close proximity a good idea?
I suspect that it wouldn't take much - an economic or natural disaster - to plunge such a "society" into conflict and civil war.
What do you think?
