Its been wildly said that we live in an "extroverted world." The Extroverts of the worlds have the biggest impacts on society. And yes in many ways thats true. But I was wondering have the introverts of the world impacted soceity? Are there any important intro's who have made a positive change? I ask this as an introvert as well.

Introverts rule the world. Yes; extroverts may get their 15 mins. of fame with their "showy performances" and obvious attempts for fame and social acceptance, but don't be fooled by this behavior. Introverts rule and always will. Introverts look, listen & learn for the benefit of all. Extroverts just do what others do. Be a proud introvert. I am.

I've actually never heard it said that we live in an extroverted world, but if it appears that way to whoever says that it could be that extroverts make their presence known more and have, as a result, allowed that misconception to prevail.

Many scientists, writers, doctors, psychologists, social workers, teachers, or other professionals are, by nature, introverts.

Being an extrovert helps if you want to be a performer or a sales person.

Many poets and artists, I believe, were introverted, e.g., Emily Dickinson, etc. Some of these introverts have impacted the world more than many extroverts. Extroverts are loud, for the time being, but the work of many introverts stands.

No one No one keeps it all in or only lets things out without thinking. Some show more often than others. Introverts can be more considerate. Id say a majority of inventors are introverts.

if you listen carefully extroverts talk a lot but have no substance. It's you introverts that support society. It takes engineers, doctors, designers to build society's infrastructure of buildings, cellular technology, to medicine. If you think about it about only about 20% of the poplulation produces productive results to sustain all of us.

A good example would be Albert Einstein, who authored the biggest single leap forward in basic scientific theory. Another good example is Prince, one of the most impressive musical performers of the last 30 years.

introverts are more opt to use their brains and become productive members of society in that way!
