She still has the tendency to see the world in black and white, moving from idealization to wanting to leave the planet. She has learned not jump impulsively into relationships, but slipped into a short fling ab. two months ago. She never rages or acts out against other people. She is more likely to go inside her cave. I hate when she does that, but she always comes back out into the light. She is often the life of the party and is highly functional at work. But intimate or dating relationships drive her batty--too inconsistent. (Truthfully, I often feel the same way.) She winds up feeling abandoned, and she is highly sensitive. She picks up on the slightest little nuance of any guy's beh., and, spooky, she is often right. She can spot a player or a cheater a mile away, and then she kicks the guy to the curb and goes back into her dark place. Is there any hope for her? She says she wants an ltr, but as great as she is, I wonder...What would you say to her? How can I help?

Or something like ADD...
If you space out often and can't concentrate? It happens so often and you feel like there is always something on the back of your mind running around...and sometimes you go to think of it when i am in the middle of something more important.
It just happens to me so much! Does it have to do with my concentration?...I have been spacing out often since as long as I can remember...usually daydreaming in school or thinking about something totally unrelated to what I am doing...causing me to do bad or make a mistake..
What exactly is this?..

(hope this is the right category!)

Today I did it. At work. And scared [i.e. worried] most of my colleagues. I came out of the room where they took a few drops of my blood for medical analysis (I am new at work and such papers are needed), I didn't know this was going to happen today, I was called for a psychiatric evaluation test and for taking my blood pressure, I came out of the respective room, everything was ok, and a few steps later when I got into the teachers' room, when I was closing the door behind me, it happened. I managed to sit on a chair and then they realised I was not feeling well and gave me some water to drink, then I felt better and thought I could take the test, I sat down and a few seconds later I felt sick again and rested with my head on the table, my colleagues panicked and called the doctors, then I was able to walk to their room after a few more sips of water. I was given something to smell, sat down, they took my blood pressure and it was lower. I was allowed to drink some Coke.

I know about manic depressive disorder and bipolar disorder, but is there a mental health condition that consists primarily of mania? Would it be drug-related? Or can someone be "manic" without drugs?

E.g., from Wikipedia,

* I = Indiscretion
* G = Grandiosity
* F = Flight of ideas
* A = Activity increased
* S = Sleep (decreased need for)

I am so pessimistic and stressed at the moment. My problems are:
1- I just had a baby 4 months ago, I love her so much and I am happily taking care of her needs, but I have lost my freedom and don't know how to cope with the new life.
2- I am overweight, 60 kgs when I should be 50 kgs with 160cm height. I can't go on a diet because I am breastfeeding, and excercising is just too much work. I excercise every now and then but it doesn't help shaping my body at all.
3- My husband has a medical problem and is having an operation in 2 weeks, regarding our sex life, as we haven't slept together for 9 months.
4- I just can't seem to be interested in any sort of social contact and I just stay at home all the time, with seeing no body or calling no body. I want to make new friends, but I feel like I have nothing to tell them, or I hate my body and can't find a good outfit.
5- I want to start a self-business next year and I am now researching for it. But everything seems a hard work.
