You need to let stuff like that roll off your back. Write if off as a characteristic flaw of the other person. It's not you, it's them, so stop letting little things like that get the best of you. As for bigger things like being hurt in a relationship - I'm a big believer in karma & "what comes around goes around" but its not my job to make it come back around by doing something vengefull. I put it in God's hands & let Him take care of it. Be the best person you can, it will make you a happier person.

When the situations arise, you do need to breathe; maybe close your eyes and count to ten (or twenty) and tell yourself to let it go.

But you also need to take periodic breaks from your usual routine. At least once a week go to the park alone and sit under a tree and just relax. Or find a place that is calming to you and take some time for yourself. During that time think only happy and positive thoughts.

Hopefully that will help you maintain a more positive outlook when you encounter stressful situations .

First, evaluate your life - why do you feel the way you do?
Second, there is plenty of "good" in this world - look for it.
Third, if you do nothing wrong, then you have no reason to be paranoid.
Fourth, learn to love life no matter how many "lemons" or questionable people come into it.

Although the response may be fake but kill them with kindness, if someone is following you try turning around and saying "excuse me, but i'd like to have some distance/space" its cheap but a simple way to get what you want without seeming childish and rude.

:D

turn to her and ask...."am I in your way?" or "may I help you?"
Then if she continues respond with "I will not patronize your store nor would I recommend your store to anyone. I have NEVER experienced such poor customer service, treating me like a common thief!" Then walk out

Revenge is a dish best served cold.

I want to retaliate all the time. Use it as your fuel to see how creative you can get.
