Remember we never blame ourselves. Always anyone else is guilty but not we. That I know for sure.

There are a mixture of reasons for blame - some relating to ourselves and some others.

For eg - if I haven't been bothered to do some chores because I am having a lazy day, then my anger over not doing them is caused 100% internally.

There again anger can clearly be caused by other people's intercations with us in our daily lives. Someone pushes in front of you in a queue then you might get angry, etc

Perhaps we all need to mellow out and create less anger - it can't be good for anyone!

The confusing and incorrect concept that our lives stop at the skin. All of us are multiply connected in ways our mind knows, and our eyes don't see. The visual input overrides the knowledge. This is science from UCSD and other places.
So when something happens, we forget the connections and regard the insult as coming from outside. In fact, the anger is a decision about what we choose to believe about the event.
Beliefs are voluntary. We can change them.
Anger is a box of delusion. Dissolve the box. There is a site that gives a brief explanation. http://www.erhardsculpt.net

Anger is an emotion, so no blame needed. How we choose to display our anger is a choice. If you become angry during an argument and blow up at that person, it was your choice to do so.

I think each person is to blame for their own anger.

Just because someone does something to upset you doesn't mean that you have to allow them to effect you and make you angry.

So I definitely think that people are responsible for their own emotions, and shouldn't blame their actions/feelings on others who might have provoked them.

People will only do to you what you allow them to, and you shouldn't let others have control over your emotions/feelings.

I hope this helps!!

One should never direct their anger outward.

(1) First we take responsibility thus directing it to the person responsible for our lives - ourselves. Then, (2) We realise that it feels awful to be angry at ourselves and then seek to feel better. (3) We then understand the pointlessness of being angry and learn to conquer it by concentrating on the loop of directing it to ourselves then seeking solace. (4) With this knowledge comes strength and leads us closer to self-realisation.

Depends what we do with our anger. God says we are to forgive our enemies. We cannot blame others for our actions.

Usually and childishly, we blame others for our anger.

The responsibility for it, unless someone disregards our pain or is deliberate in hurting us, then the anger and the responsibility for it is our own.

We blame others, but letting others "get" to us gives them power over us. Ultimately, we control our own emotions. No one can make us angry, hurt us (emotionally) without us letting them do it.
