my ex-partner who i have had a stormy relationship with for along time said some thinks to me once which make me wonder does he spy on me. i was putting some curtains up at my back door as you can see right through into my home and he said to me in a joking way 'dont put them up as when we are split up i cant come and see whos in the house'. he also asked me did i park my car in the same place every night. do you think he does spy or has he just said these things to put the idea into my head? i feel like moving so he doesnt know where i am.

is there anyway of getting over this, im currently dating this one guy and dont get me wrong i do like him, but i dont know if im trying really hard to make us into something more because i like him or im trying hard because i just dont want to be single anymore. please help!!!

i'm a junior in hs. and i'm starting to think of my future. i know i want to major in pyschology, but i can't choose between the careers. i wanted to be a school pyschologist or just a psychologist, but are there any other careers i can pursue? and what colleges should i apply for in southern california with a good psychology program?

I have a few personal things dangling over my head forgivingly. I find it harder to fall asleep and i think about them almost every waking moment, except when i am busy...and i try to keep busy. I don't need advise on how to solve these stress problems i am just wondering how much it can really affect you specifically when i am training. (running, working out, ect)
Some days i find myself just totally lazy and unable to perform how i want to. For example i usually can get on the treadmill and run 5 miles without a whole lot of trouble but today i got on and could barely do 2, i wasn't sore or anything before, but i just got really tired with camps in my gut. Can this all be blamed on stress....i like to believe i have strong will power, but obviously its not strong enough....
I would rate my stress about 9/10 and not being exaggerated
anyone know?

How do your views about Freud (discredited or bowed down to) frame your world view? Do you interpret everthing in your relationships in accord with his doctrine? If not, with Jung's doctrine? Or another of the "founders?"

Hi, I was talking with my fiance and I said I didn't want to buy us a bed untill we could afford a REALLY expensive nice bed.

I was kinda puzzled because I don't mind if other things aren't as expensive such as TVs, cars, stoves, you know---stuff where the quality and price doesn't REALLY matter.

I know that where you lable your priorities shows alot about the personality of the person, so I figured wanting an expensive bed as a top priority means something about me psychologically... I think it would be an interesting thing to take note, so anyone got any suggestions?

well honestly speaking i am a decent guy.i really hate flirting.my problem is (may be because of films and ekta kapoor's serials) i dont have good opinion about any girl in this world.they have made me believe that girls are very filthy and frauds.they have made me think that, in this modern india no girl (after getting married) can be trusted about her fidelity.In many tv serials they show a girl falling in love with a man..marrying someother person...but then not giving much attention towards her husband and try to be very intimate with her ex-lover saying that she was and will be her good friend..isn't this a bad thing?i really dont know whether such things do happen in real life.my classmates(girls)who very friendly with me at the begining of my clg have suddenly started neglecting and underestimating me a lot after my poor performance in exams.then have now shifted their attention towards other boys who in their absence talk very badly about their character and their physique.if

Hi,

why is it that when you are going for counselling people encourgae you to have good relationship with the person, to open up to thm ect but make you feel like crap when you say you are attached to them!
i have to give up my counsellor soon...due to the service she works for and its killing me, i feel let down and broke into a million pieces. I am sorry if thats over dramatic. I do have people in my life that i can talk to but not the same.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I've never put myself above others, never felt better than anyone else. I'm having a difficulty in communicating with others, thus cutting the chance to make and meet friends. I always thought people will dislike me and afraid of being rejected. My life's good but why am i feeling this way...eversince? Does anyone out there feeling the same way, too? Just about every time I have a dream with my husband in it, it is always about him up and leaving me stranded somewhere, when I am supposed to be going with him, where ever it is we are going. In the dream I am searching for another way to get where I am suppose to be, because my husband ran off and left me. and of course In the dream I do get upset about it.

Several years ago, I became friends at work with another woman who’s almost six years older than I am. Although we never actually worked together, she worked in a nearby room. At first she seemed attentive and a good listener until her teenage son developed a major health condition requiring several major surgeries, including an organ transplant. I though she was over the hurdle when her husband, who weighed nearly 400 pounds, lost his job due to side effects of depression, then required heart surgery. After this ordeal, she had several operations for hernia repair and stomach surgery. She still is facing knee surgery also. Although she no longer works in my department, we still see each other occasionally, like before major holidays and on birthdays. She’s lost nearly 200 pounds since she changed jobs and now she seems distracted and inattentive. This week we met for lunch and she never got off her cell phone the whole time we were together. She’d end one call and dial another number right away. I really think that was rude, even considering her recent ordeals. I felt like grabbing the damn phone and hurling it across the restaurant. She invited me out, so at least she could act like she was just a LITTLE interested in what I had to say.

Then, after my mother passed away, she said I had a standing invitation to her house for all major holidays. However, since then its always been some reason or excuse that I can’t come to her house – like she’s going to be busy or away from home at those times.

Another thing that bugs me is that when we go out, she’ll order the most expensive thing on the menu, then hardly eat any of it. I hate to see food wasted. When I asked her why she does that. She responded, “Because it impresses people when they see I don’t need to eat that food.” Now I don’t know whom she’s trying to. I think I’d try to impress someone other than the wait staff.

I wanted to know just what might be going on in her mind impress with is hubristic attitude she’s developed or if there’s a psychological condition causing her to act like this. How should I deal with her?

people will have suntanned bodies and they will know that I did not go on a holiday and I will feel embaressed/ashamed. What should I do? Just to prove that I am social and went on a holiday, should I go on a summer holiday?
