How do your views about Freud (discredited or bowed down to) frame your world view? Do you interpret everthing in your relationships in accord with his doctrine? If not, with Jung's doctrine? Or another of the "founders?"

I preferred Einstein's theories. Don't take anything or yourself too seriously.

well as far as Freud, I do believe most boys have the Oedipus complex, and still have it as an adult and some girls have the Electra complex, but as far as Jung, well I'm spiritual not religious and try to stay away from it all, but whatever one believes in, and whatever makes them feel more comfortable is just fine.

Me? I might've ended up in Sigmund's case studies and Carl would've been fascinated with my complicated views.
The more enlightened I get, the more I realize that I am as miserable as ever. I don't have the answers. I am searching, though and I am grateful for any guidance I've received. C. :)!!

FREUD WAS A GENIUS WHO CREATED SOME OF THE BEST THEORETICAL CONSTRUCTS OF ALL TIME. BUT IT WAS JUST THEORY. WE'RE NOT REALLY NUTTY ENOUGH TO TRY TO LIVE BY HIS VIEW OF THINGS. BESIDES, I CAN'T AFFORD TO BUY ENOUGH COCAINE TO KILL A HORSE JUST SO I COULD FUNCTION ON FREUD'S LEVEL.
