my ex-partner who i have had a stormy relationship with for along time said some thinks to me once which make me wonder does he spy on me. i was putting some curtains up at my back door as you can see right through into my home and he said to me in a joking way 'dont put them up as when we are split up i cant come and see whos in the house'. he also asked me did i park my car in the same place every night. do you think he does spy or has he just said these things to put the idea into my head? i feel like moving so he doesnt know where i am.

You'd probably be wise to do so as it is quite likely that he is indeed spying on you. I had to put up with that for nearly a year after leaving my ex, especially in the first six months. He didn't spy on me at home (I moved back in with my parents when I left him) since he knew better as my dad was a cop as well as an avid hunter. However, he knew all the places I liked to go with friends and quite often I'd be out and either he'd conviently showed up (to places he previously could not stand) or he'd basically hide in the shadows and spied on me. For a while I changed my routine. It didn't stop until he found someone else and moved her in in record time. But back to you...some magazine articles I've read and stories I have heard, you would probably be wise to consider moving.

Maybe you should ask him. Does he have any plans? Is he thinking of giving up his day job to do comedy in Las Vegas (because you don't think he has been too funny so far)? His behavior is a bit suspicious, it almost sounds like stalking, but then there are many odd relationships these days. I guess it is your call. Have you sought an injunction?

he may be insane in the head. i'd stick around a few nights and maybe go to a neighbour's house to see if anything happens. if so look inside and ask if he really likes u 4 u or u 4 something else!

He is driving by your house. That is stalking. He is using control techniques to cause you to be afraid. I would tell the police about him and tell your neighbors so they can watch to see if he really is driving by or stalking you. He probably doesn't come by often, just often enough to see a few things then use them to spite you. Please advise the police and your neighbors though.
