When i read some books, it feels like im reading blank, and when i try to remember what it was trying to say, i cant remember. I really try concentrating hard on reading the words, but it makes my brain feel funny.. Is it because the context is too difficult for me to understand?

I get so sick of my problems I just think its better to go to sleep forever and never ever wake up. They just never end. You get rid of one problem and a worse one comes along.

When in presence of people, I feel like I'm losing my consciousness. I'm overwhelmed by their perspective, by their "reality tunnels" and I literally see myself trhough their eyes, I feel their emotional response. It's like... I can be anyone but I can't be myself.

That's terrible. I want to LIVE my life again!!

Since beliefs are the result of: information, context, perspective, experience, focus, etc., etc., the interpretation or the "belief" extracted from the above info would be different for each individual. Therefore, since all people interpret things differently, beliefs only seem to cause differences, limitations, etc., thus, why do we have them?

I am an atheist, this means I do not believe in Jesus, in Allah, in Buddist or any other God. I did not make this switch lightly. I was raised as a strict Christan. The reason why I am an atheist is because for over 3000 years too many people have been using "God" as an EXCUSE to murder, rape, discriminate and marginalize. To make matters worse has anyone ever attempted to have an intellectual debate with a violent religious zealot? I can't speak for the Koran but I have read some passages in the bible that could not have come from Jesus, the God of love.
Moderate religious people tell them they do not interpret their book literally. That they use common sense and ignore cultural norms that were normal back then. This sounds kind of similar to atheism. I use common sense, compassion, logic, human rights and I consider the current cultural norms.
If you Believe in God?, please explain logically to me how your able to ignore or even believe some parts of your holy book?

i mean i'm a virgin & hope to remain so until i meet a person i really love.(maybe this is because of my culture,i'm asian)by the questions asked,& the answers given,i see that a lot of people prefer non-virgins.i mean doesn't it bother you that your husband/wife has slept with other people before?there are even 12 year olds who are non-virgins.isn't sex supposed to be an intimate act between two people who are very much in love?even my friends keep asking me why i have such "dum" thoughts according to them.

ok.i understand, gaining experience is one thing, but actaully knowing that the person you're going to marry or is married to(the person you're in love with & want to spend the rest of your life with),did something as intimate as that-doesn't that hurt?
just asking your opinion-cheers!

Whenever I describe my physical responses to emotion to others, most people have no idea what I mean.
