I have been having some pretty weird dream lately and I'm starting to wonder in my self conscience is trying to tell me something. Are there any studies that could back this thought up or are dreams meaning less.

When your symptoms include
-Spacing out, yet you are paying attention
-Do not look at people often
-Barely talks/mute.

This is driving me crazy & I need to know.

i work at a job where certain things are easy to do while other things are harder and more time consuming. we have a set goal to reach and doing the easy work makes it a breeze to hit goal. well we just had a shift alignment and a worker from another shift came on mine. he refuses to do any of the hard work and will pick a fight with me and the other workers if we do anything easy. the catch is he's black and the other 4 of us are white. when we confronted our boss about this problem, he ran to human resources and accused us of racism.

they told us to let him have all the easy work . so now me and the other workers have to work three times harder while he has an easy day everyday. you can call me a racist if you wish, but i think its just wrong to use your race as an excuse to get your way. anyone else agree?

In the dream there were people singing, including myself.
We were singing in a foriegn language.
In the dream I could understand what the words meant.
When I woke up, I could remember a line from the song, but not what it meant. Now, since I didn't write down or record the line, I can't even ask what song it is. But what does the dream mean?

A ton of my dreams just involve me picking up girls.

And what happens in reality? Insulted, rejected, and not even liked by a lot of girls.

As a matter of fact, I don't think a girl liked me for who I am. Or really liked me in that matter.

In my dreams, I'm no longer Sean, I'm my alter ego, Z. Z is a guy who is liked by many. He gets the girls, and he is also quite smart.

Z is just the better looking version of me: brown hair, 5'8, really muscular, and an overall nice guy.

I always dream of being Z, no, letting Z out. But I'm not muscular, I don't have brown hair, and I'm not 5'8. The only true thing is that I'm real nice and smart.

But my dreams, they're just that. Dreams. Nothing but figures of my imagination. I'm also quite unlucky when it comes to asking girls out. They always just want to be friends or are already taken by guys that aren't me.

So is there something wrong with my mind? I'm almost 13, by the way.

What do I advice people who are sometimes 'thinks too much' and could also be mistaken as 'emotionless'? He had a childhood trauma of being 'emotional' once but was shut out by his own father. He's a nice person in general but his pessimism and over-analysis makes me think he's a 'robot' already. His ways are sure and right. But I would like him to 'feel' for once and not 'think'. What could I do or advice him?

For me it's black and white photos of Dominican nuns - especially shots in which they're smoking, horsing around etc. I have no idea why but it just tickles me.
That, and people falling over...

i know everyone is different.... i am just wondering what their mind works like and what they think. like you know, as a 15 year old girl, i want to discover myself and care about how i appear to people, think about the mysteries of life, etc.... but what does an 18 year old boy think about generally? (and i know what the answer is gonna be from most, but other than that)

?

Where do we go when we just don't know?
How do we relight the flame when it's cold?
Why do we dream when our thoughts mean nothing?
When will we learn to obey?

How do you develop your mind to think with a big picture? What it takes to do it? Any good books to read about this topic?

Serious question. I believe I do. And I suspect some people envy me because of it. Is it possible? I believe I'm the kind of person the government fears because I question a little too much for them to be comfortable. Single/Male/33

This may sound funny, but being a private person, I've though of keeping my conciousness to myself by putting lead sheets inbetween the walls of my home to prevent anykind of waves to reach me. That way when I'm alone in my room, I'm REALLY alone in my room.

Note: I don't like to BS, or talk BS. I'm usualy easy to reach. I don't read minds, I admit I am blind to some things. And I don't know everything that's going on around me all of the time. I have random thoughts like these all the time.

I'm going through that phase of asking different questions about life. My best friend was murdered a few months ago and thats pretty much what started this flow of questioning. I mentioned it to my doctor, and he said something to the effect that only about 3% of people take the time, go through, and question what I am now. Have any of you gone through this? Of course I'm aware that theres no specific amount of time that this is going to last....I'm really just wanting a ballpark idea of how long. Any thoughts?..experiences?..ect.
Thanks for your help!!
