I think some people find it easy to ask for and get things done and others resort to things like bossy language to get there results, so this may be a sign of feeling inadequate in some way

Maybe they only know how to speak in bosy.
Where are these people from? you shouldn't criticize just b/c your not fluent in bosy.

Anyway there was a report on tv about hand gestures one time and according to them Italians use them the most while Japanese use them the least. Also according to them There tied to memory they help you remember things better.
Supposedly you can't remember as clearly when you don't use gestures.

I have heard that this is to make sure that they are able to explain everything right. And that the person that they are explaining to, "gets it!"
Not to mention the fact, that these kind of people learn better with hands on training (interactive) than self taught (book) training.
