In the dream there were people singing, including myself.
We were singing in a foriegn language.
In the dream I could understand what the words meant.
When I woke up, I could remember a line from the song, but not what it meant. Now, since I didn't write down or record the line, I can't even ask what song it is. But what does the dream mean?

To sing in your dream, represents happiness, harmony and joy in some situation or relationship. You are uplifting others with your positive attitude and cheerful disposition. Singing is a way to celebrate, communicate and express your feelings.

To hear someone sing in your dream, signifies emotional and spiritual fulfillment. You are changing your mood and experiencing a more positive outlook in life.

Sorry to say, I don't think the dream means anything,
The reason for sleeping is so your brain can re-configure itself without outside stimulous. It is puting your thoughts, and sights, and happenings from your day into little memory packs for the stuff to be kept, the rest is discarded. It is like on your computer, using Disc Clean-up or disc Defragmenter.

You dream several dreams every night and only remember parts of a few.
So, enjoy the ones you remember, but it is as relevant as a tv commercial

I dreamt a lot as a kid. Bought a book on dream interpretation. Most all of the dreams could be pegged to events that occurred in recent days. Took all of the mystery away. On the other hand, without the mystery, I tend to forget or rarely recall dreams today.

I think you will need to get a book, and interpret your own dreams, as they are so tightly integrated with your experiences, no third party, let alone a Y!A responder will be able to zero in on it for you.

If you felt good, then the dream may mean that you feel alienated from your current peer/family group and more comfortable in another, different group. Were these "foreign" people predominantly of a certain type, say age, gender, ethnic group? Have you recently interacted/seen/thought about interacting with someone(s) outside of your traditional experience/comfort zone? Is there anything/anyone in your current social reality that you would like to escape? Is there anywhere/anyone different you have become interested in but have yet to reach out to?
