Try to figure out why you're tired. Do you stay up all night or get up frequently during the night? Do you exercise, eat right, take vitamins?
Some factors may be leading you to feeling tired.
If you do all these things are are still tired you might want to try drinking coffee or tea to get you going through the evening.
If you don't want to try that - try taking your nap and setting your alarm so that you only sleep a designated amount of time.
Good luck!

Hahaha. I have the exact problem. I'm tired from the stress and it screws up my sleeping and then I need to take a nap during the day and then I'm tired and discouraged for the remainder of the day.
There are a few pieces of advice I could offer you. (1) Try and think about when you're most alert (some people study well during the day and some study well at night). (2) I personally find that getting the easier pieces of work done first help to boost my confidence and give me more energy for the harder ones. (3) Make sure to eat a balanced diet, get out for some exercise at least once a week, and get your eight hours of sleep! (4) Find time to have fun. Don't take off a full day because it's impossible to get back into it, but maybe set a limit to the time you're willing to work each day.
All in all, the most important thing is to keep your stress levels in check. Stay organized, call your friends, tell your family how burnt out you feel. And get off Yahoo Answers! Go back to work! Now!!

well, that used to happen to me aswell... well what i can say is that you should make a timetable for your self at home and make sure you stick with it and make sure you read or learn something relating to your studies everyday...
thats what i did... oh yeah! and make sure you eat breakfast and try some vitamin tablets or syrup such as omega3, omega3 is excellent... you will feel more alert.. drink plenty of water and eat good food and fruits...
anyawy best of luck... take care... :-)
