There's this girl at school, and I think she likes me but I'm not sure. She tries to make me laugh, and always asks me how I am, and is so nice to me. It sounds like a friendship, except that she gets really nervous around me, she stares and doesn't turn away when I catch her, and usually gets relatively close to me.

I believe that the concept of a soul is just wishful thinking by humans who can not deal with the reality that they will simply not exist one day.

It is a way for the human being to tell itself that he will live forever.

It's illogical and unscientific.

We are completely and totally made up of DNA, atoms and chemicals which control us. Without those things we wouldn't exist.

The idea that our personalities somehow float around in Eternity is ridiculous.

My wife has shown strong prejudices against blacks, asians, and hispanics. It was extremely subtle ten years ago, not even noticable, but is now more pronounced. Her teenage boys occasionally tell her she is a racist. I have, in the past, written off my suspicions of her prejudice as oversensitivity on my part. ( I am Hispanic.) Several years ago, she admitted to me that she is prejudiced against Hispanics. I don't understand how she can justify that it is not a problem, or anything unusual. Her typical response to my questions about it is "many people feel like I do." The obvious implication is that because others feel likewise, there is nothing wrong with it. Why would someone want to marry someone from an ethnic minority when they are prejudiced against members of that group?

I know that a quiz doesn't take the place of a bonafide medical diagnosis, but I am curious if any such quizzes are around as indicators. The only ones I have come across thus far are centered around children and teens.

Okay my head feels like it is going to explode. Whenever I see something or just start thinking about it my mind just blows it up a hundred times. I don't have ADD and I had my head scanned twice. This just started and I don't know why. I mean it feels like I could blow up something with how much pressure builds up in my head.

Lets say I am thinking about a cat I can see it and hear it and turn it around and everything i know about cats comes up. It just builds up and I have to shut down and then start up again.

I don't know what it is. Can't really explain it. I'm 17 years old right now. I'm turning 18 in March.
I don't know. I feel like something's wrong. Something's missing in my life. I feel a great loss. I feel sad and depressed almost everyday. I've lost hope in my future. I feel useless. My grades aren't too good in school. I'm getting Cs and Fs. I find myself doing a poor job in my school work. Sometimes I just walk around campus during classtime for no reason. I'm absent from school a lot. People tease me because I dress different. I dress like Marlon Brando from the movie, "The Wild One". People have thrown stuff at me and say things about me. I've talked to teachers about it. Even the principal. They've done nothing.
I'm bored most of the time at school. No friends. No girlfriend. I'm alone. My teachers say I've got Asperger's Syndrome, but I refuse to believe it. I feel normal.
I feel behind in life. I'm not driving yet. I'm not working yet. What about moving out?

For example, sometimes you're sitting listening in class listening to professor lecture but your head is nodding and eventually you close your eyes and you're sleeping. But then you seem to catch yourself and jerk yourself awake. What causes that?

What's going with me? A lot of times, I'll get this feeling that I've been in the same situation before. Like one time, I was at a friend's birthday party eating some pizza and I got this feeling that I had done that before..don't know how to describe it.
