Sometimes it's love. If you've ever watched any of the TV court shows, men and women are always doing something stupid because they were in love. Like buying someone a car or co- signing for a car when they have only known someone for a short while. Some people are just so desperate for love they will do anything. I feel bad for them though.

I am not sure but when I was younger and living with my older sister & her family, my brother-in-law was constantly telling me to "use my common sense" no matter what the circumstances were he always said this to me- and I would say "ok" even though at that time I had NO idea what he meant by "common sense" lol!

Arrogance. Preferring to justify what we want to do rather than trusting our inner sense, feeling or instinct. It has been written that common sense is uncommon.

For some reason most of us act before we think--instead of think before we act. We usually know that we are taking a risk, yet we still do it. Go figure...
