I don't get it. Why is it when we're mad we scream? Or when we're said we cry? How does it make us feel better? Why?

I'm no physiologist, but I would wager that screaming, like crying, running, or having sex, releases endorphins into the blood stream. Endorphins are pleasure-causing chemicals usually triggered by stress on the body to help one cope.

There's also the cathartic value of "having it out". Expressing something that has been held back for a long time can feel very freeing.

I'd go with the endorphins answer with one addition: your body gets a lot of heaping gulps of oxygen when you scream. A lot of times, when you're under stress, you're not taking full enough breaths, and that leads to decreased brain function. So if you're in class, just take some big gulps instead of screaming--everyone will appreciate the self-control you'll be showing.

#1. I never cry when I am "said".

#2. It is an emotional outburst and thus most people will feel a something.

#3. I never feel good after screaming. My stomach hurts and my voice becomes sour. And my ears hurt and I am all dizzy.

(And I hardly feel better after crying. If anything I feel tired and I fall asleep.)

It is a release. We have all this emotion bottled up inside and it needs to come out so screaming crying etc. help it to be released from out body and it feels so much better to get it out than to bottle it up

People feel better after screaming? Really? It never worked for me. People can express anger in more constructive ways, or when that doesn't work, avoid the people who keep making us angry. That feels better!

I don't know. I always feel worse after I scream. Screaming for me is a loss of control.

To release build up emotions. After we release them we usually feel better unless there is a major problem we have to solve or the death of a loved one.

its our bodies way of dealing with the stress/tension that is going on. screaming helps relieve tension plus exerts a little pinned up energy . with crying it lets the stress go through tears.
