I am not certain that I understand your question.
Do you mean to ask why your friend never had measles, as in the childhood disease?
If that's what you meant, it's because she may be a carrier.
A carrier is someone who does not catch the disease, but can give it to others.
The other possibility is that she is immune. (She can't catch it.)

During Eve's time, there's no mention of sickness in the bible. God put Adam and Eve on earth to help populate it. It wouldn't have been wise for there to have been disease during that time. Look at the havoc diseases wreak now, imagine that on a world just starting to thrive and grow.

My answer is based on the fact I'm assuming you're referring to the first woman created.
