Something happened to me when I was younger (less than 6) that I can't remember everything about, but when certain things happen to me that are similar to past events, I act as I think I did then.

it will be the mood most affected by the drug when it kicks in. I ask this because my ex-husband pops them and he goes crazy everytime he does because he is in a bad mood when he takes it.

I had recurring dreams about bear back during the summer.. In one dream I saw a bear in front of me ( grizzley) and stand on its hind legs. This past week I was out hunting and saw a number of bear and sure enough. 7 blackbear surrounded me. They couldn’t see me cause of the sun was in their eyes, but could smell me. When the mom bear moved past me and turned around she saw me. She stood up on her hind legs. Just a few feet away from me. Could a dream tell you the future?

Yah I was extremely scared. If the situation escalated I would have done the unthinkable to defend myself.

I was out on a mountain type cliff, when all of a sudden I see a HUGE King Kong. He was in the valley of the mountains when I jumped off and landed in some water and I had to hide under a cliff above the water to hide from it. The Kong finally left and all, and when I woke up, I swore that those things existed until I finally realized that it was a dream.

Surreal feeling.

A weakness of the disease model of alcoholism is that it cannot explain:



a. addictions to activities rather than to chemicals.

b. why many alcoholics do not develop tolerance.

c. why certain vulnerable people do not become alcoholics.

d. why tolerance to alcohol develops in people who are addicted to other drugs.

In high school, I had a 4.0, but graduated from college with a 2.1. It took me 7 years to get a B.S. in Biology. When I interviewed with a doctor, he asked me if I'd ever been diagnosed with an LD because of my grades. Anyway, I can read and comprehend perfectly, but cannot retain a lot of memory of what I study. Procrastination is a way of life. It got me thinking: Do I have a LD that deals with memory? Everyday, I forget conversations, to do things that have to be done, sometimes miss deadlines, etc. Other times, I forget I told a person something and they remind me, and I don't remember telling them that. Just worried. Where can I see a list of LD's so that I can read about them?

I have a friend who I think suffers from an attention seeking disorder. Shes 19 - and I'm not sure if it is a different term for adults or not.

I'm wondering about whether I am right in thinking this. She suffers from depression and she has a new problem where she faints constantly for no apparent reason. She has been in the hospital for it a few time and been sent home with no answers. They don't know whats wrong with her.

Is it possible to subconciously make yourself faint? Can attention seeking become this bad that you can give yourself illnesses like this. I know I might be a bad friend to think it could be attention seeking but it always seems to happen when she's having a bad night or she's doing something she doesn't want to do or around someone she doesn't like.

I really need to know what it could be? And how to help her.

She has tried to commit suicide a few times, and I am always the one who has to pick up the pieces. The pressure of it all is making ME ill.

Can someone please tell me what are the symptoms of depression, and how do you get it?! why does it happen to some and not others. how is it a chemical malfunction of your brain? i promise i'm a smart girl...i always have been. but i frickin can't concentrate on any assignments 'cuz i feel like giving up. i find myself saying...what's teh use, you're going to fail anyway. what the hell is wrong with me. will one paxil pill do the job and make me feel happy again and make me concentrate and be determined for my exams. why the hell is this happening to me. i hate this, and my life.

hi since i was a kid in all skools i went to i was that kind of kids who had friends, who loved him but i used to be the center of all the moqueries
ppl love to make fun of me and of course it affects my self-esteem right now (im 16 years old )
i was just wondering if being that kind of losers at high skool does it affect also my self-esteem in my future years ?
will i be that kind of guys full of complications ??

I broke up with my bf one year ago , some of my friends were still in touch with him and he told them that he just fell in love with me but because I hurt him deeply ,he had no feelings for me any more .I thought I was over him but I never have been .actually I still have him in my msn messenger ,I found out 6 months ago that he started a relation with a girl but they broke up very soon but lately I saw him online alot putting love words and romantic poems as his status and Today when I saw his romantic status for the second time I couldnt stop crying ..what can i do to get over him plz ..I met many guys after him ,mostly were better than him but I cant get involved with anybody again ..I need help and it wouldnt help me dating new guys I am sure...

My bf abused me in june coz he saw me dancing with another guy. He broke up n told me im a cheap gurl along with abuses . then he stopped contacting me. But after a month he started contacting through text mesgs. Again not very pleasant mesgs. but now on 14th nov he again abused me as he kept asking me through text mesgs if i had gone on a date with another guy. But i kept silent and he again abused me through mesgs tht im a prosti**te. He told me he wants to slap me n abuse me . I think that when we are alone, we can't distingush what's real. I believe that only when there is another person present that reality is established.

Okay, so i'm afraid of being in the dark specifically because i can't see what's right in front of me, but i regularly sleep with a blindfold on (& it's not to keep out the light--'cause i sleep w/ a very small nightlight on), & being blinded gives me a sense of safety & security. Why would not being able to see give me comfort if i'm actually afraid of not being able to see?
