I'm a 18 years old. 3 and a half years ago I fell hopelessly in love. I couldn't be with him:he lived in another country and there were other problems. Since then i feel awful: I cry almost every day, I feel helpless, apathetic, gloomy, moody. What's worse, my beloved died and I can't do anything, feel so empty inside, as if a part of me is dead. I still love him and know that even if I fall in love again I'll never be able to forget him. I just lived 4 him and had no other dreams except 4 being happy with him.And now I feel nothing inside: I eat, sleep and so on but I now that I've lost the most important for me forever. What should I do? Am I ill? What am I suffering from? What's wrong with me? Please help me!

When you run out of ideas for toys at Christmas, do you think of stimulating interest in a hobby for children? Hobbies add a dimension to life which improves it for the long haul. Interests begun in childhood can form the basis for a lifelong pleasurable hobby, or even a career. Having a hobby reduces boredom, which gets more and more dangerous as the teen years approach. I don't know any statistics (maybe you do?), but I would like to hear how others, especially parents, feel about wholesome hobbies.

It is Carl Roger's idea that a person's perception of the past is more important than the past. Do you agree with that? Explain.

I feel like I just left the "psych ward" at Bellvue. Oh my God, pardon the pun - I'll get to the question in a minute. I answered this question from a guy with some obvious issues who's question was a little offensive. As I wrote my answer, I wondered how many people were going to have a similar reaction as the one that I had. The fact was, I turned out to be the only person who reacted in the manner that I expected from everyone else. To make a long question short, I told this guy he had crossed the line and that there were other ways to debate religious beliefs. What I found when I read the other answers was that, for the most part, they were quoting the Bible and discussing his question "without offense". So my question is, finally. How do the "true believers" make it through a day without walking head on into a freight train because they are so "blind" to the "real" world around them? Don't take my word for it, check out the ?? "Thou Shall not kill" But God can if he wants to..

Have you been in a situation where you become the 'culprit' for lending a helping hand to a desperate person. Somehow, this person associates you with their problem and ends up blaming you for it..... and this leaves me hopelessly thinking...... not worth helping another....

I wonder if anyone else has faced such a situation.

I know that I rarely have tears come out of my eyes anymore. When I do feel like crying, I laugh or smile even when I am not trying. I met someone that's the same way too. I am just curius, not looking for anything serious out of this.

Palliative Care and Hospice Care in Arizona
My granny use to say “usually it is much better to die naturally than to die by mans’ hand, the last days of my life I would like to spent with my family until I pass away, the pain I can’t bear, but the smile’s on my family’s face Is a unforgettable memory” my granny said, before she passed away. There are many alternative methods besides euthanasia. Like for instance the use of palliative care and hospice care, this is largely use in Arizona, because of the wide range of elderly population and is becoming a great way to elimate euthanasia.
However, these alternative medicines such as palliative care and hospice care is define to be an alert to acknowledge the last stages of a patients life and have them carry on with less pain through out their lives, so at least they can spent their final days with their families. (College of Palliative) Hospice care focuses more on your life at hand, than on how long you have to live. The hospice car

I am the baby 10. I have 7 sisters and 2 brothers, we are all pretty close. I was sexually molested by a neighbor when I was 7,8,9, yrs old by a 50 yr old man (Neighbor)
My oldest sister and I had words over something about my mom and in return she threw all my past in my face. She claims I was getting molested out of GREED? (Meaning He was buying me things and I went back to get more stuff from him). SICK!
I was threatened by a gun, and was told he would kill me and my family. I am 36 yrs old and I still live with it everyday. People don't realize how bad this effects the person that was abused. Now that it Christmas time my sister wants to make ammends but how can I forgive such a evil tongue she had with me? I cried for days after she said this to me.
I was robbed of my childhood, I lived in FEAR!
I never told anyone in my family until about 10 years ago. I am still in therapy.. So how do I forgive?? HELP!?
