I was answering to someone...then I stopped...I told myself "possible another fictitious story".

Would you dare to post lies? I mean many of the people that answer, take time and thought for that. Wouldn't it be a lack of respect for others?

Thoughts?

p.s. Of course there are stories that are obviously absurd. I am referring to the ones that "could" be true.

In the Mirena commercial, it states that only women "In a stable relationship" should recieve it, doesn't that make out women NOT in a stable relationship, to be somewhat percieved as "loose?" It strikes me as discriminatory, saying if a woman is not in a " stable " relationship, she does not deserve birth control. Where do they get off stating that!?? And they go on to say that if " happily" you decide to have a baby to have it removed. It makes the makers of Mirena a pro-life movement. your thoughts, please.

...as a political weapon against woman's advancements: the beauty myth. The qualities that a given period calls beautiful in women are merely symbols of the female behavior that that period considers desirable: The beauty myth is always actually prescribing behavior and not appearance. Competition between women has been made a part of the myth so that women will be divided from one another. Youth and (until recently) virginity have been "beautiful" in women since they stand for experiential and sexual ignorance. Aging in women is "unbeautiful" since women grow more powerful with time, and since links between generations of women must always be newly broken: Older women fear young ones, and young women fear old, and the beauty myth truncates for all the female life span. Most urgently. women's identity must be premised upon our "beauty" so that we will remain vulnerable to outside approval, carrying the vital sensitive organ of self-esteem exposed to the air." about rape? About encouraging a certain questioner to go ahead and rape women? I'm serious. I enjoy debate, I enjoy listening to other people's views, I enjoy some silliness and sarcasm, but to stoop so low that you are actually encouraging a questioner to go ahead and rape women in my mind is disgusting, it crosses the line. It is heartless and disrespectful, you think NO ONE who reads these has ever been the victim of rape? Explain to me how you validate your responses please.

If you support the idea that young teenagers should be encouraged to take a virginity pledge and get a purity ring as a symbol of their promise to themselves? If you support it, do you think it's equally as important for both sexes or just for the girls? I've heard of purity balls given for the girls when they get their rings but I've never heard of a boy getting a party. Do they have them, too, or am I just out of the loop on what's going on with this trend?

Whenever I see a beautiful woman, my face turns into a wolf's and I howl. If she's very beautiful, sometimes a police light (the single red undercover kind from the 70's) pops out of my head and a siren goes off. It doesn't really hurt anybody, but I can't control it. Does this make me a bad person?

Are men that horrible OR do many women today have unrealistic standards for their husbands?

I find that women today often have higher standards for men than they have for themselves. I think it odd that in this day and age of "equality" women still want to take more than they give. Men do much more compromising in relationships than women do. If it was up to most men... romantic relationships would be all sex and football. So we compromise A LOT and the few things women give in return they expect a metal for it. Thats just my personal opinion.

But what do YOU think is the reason for this imbalance? I'm sure the root of the problem has to do with BOTH the women and the men... not just the men.
