Well, I'm a size 10/12 (UK) so I'm flattered, but I still think it's silly to say anything other than this size is too thin or too fat. It depends on the person's build and body type.
A muscular female with a large body frame might wear a size 14 and look great and a small boned female that perhaps isn't that toned might look best as a size 8.

It sounds that no matter what I do, I never will have what is considered by many men to have the perfect body size. If I say I wear a size 16, many of them will automatically dismiss me as being fat. The truth is that I'm tall and that is a slim size for me. It's the same as saying I weigh around 160 pounds. I'm "too fat" even though I look thin. I'm proportioned larger because I am considerably above the average height for a woman.

My hubby loves me no matter what size I am. I was an 8 before kids, a 14 while I was pregnant, now I am a size 8 ( or 9 depending), and I have never once cared about my weight before or after I was married. Being a size 8 never stopped me from having more dates than I can handle. The guys who actually cared that I was a size 8...do you really think I cared about them? No.
I think men go for confidence and women who do not stay glued to the scale. A woman who can enjoy life, with her man, without worry of trivial things like size.

Well not all of us are the same. "Some like 'em small, some like 'em medium, some like 'em large and some even larger. I however love 'em large. A size 16,18,20, 22, would keep my attention 365 days a year with no lapse in focus.
I feel it may have something to do also with the kind of person the guy is. I myself and all the other guys I know in 14 states, many of us are what are called BBW Admirers, Full Figured Admirers and sometimes FA=Fat Admirers. Doesn't bother us that others don't agree with our choices but I feel no matter what the woman is, there are guys who will adore her. There is no one set size that can be set for all of Womankind.

Whose size 10-12, US or UK. A big difference there.
And no - it should be proportional to height. A 10-12 would be fine for a 5'10" to 6'. 5 foot 2 a 2, 5'4" a 4, etc......
I'm 5'5" and wear 4 pant in most styles and a 6 top. I have 21-22% body fat. I think I'm normal!
NOW LETS DO MEN
I'd say a 34 waist is perfect.

a 4' something woman and an almost 6' woman would look VERY different in a size 10. it really depends on the woman, her muscle tone, her height, her body fat % (also, are you talking USA or UK sizes?? American size zero is UK size four)
there is not a "perfect" size for EVERY woman.
also, not *every* man has the same tastes.

I think anything from a size 7 to 14.
Anyways thats just my opinion although different people find beauty in different sizes...NO ONE SIZE IS PERFECT!
I have been a sizes 3 up to 14. I got hit on the most at a size 7.
Also some size 14's are sexy as hell, it depends on how the woman carries the weight.
I relate rolls to fat and I know plenty of size 14 women who have no rolls..they are just curvey..which is hot.

A size 10/12 by todays standards is heavy. Plus sized models wear size 12/14 and up!
It has been my experience that a well toned 6 is the perfect size by a man's standards - still some curves, but little body fat.

It all depends on your height......
However, your answer insinuates that a man will only stay based on physical appearance....how insulting to men! And then men wonder why women get all worked up and don't respect them? LOL
My husband has stayed with me, GASP, 11 years, I have been everything from a size 4 to a size 10, and nothing seems to change. He desires me, he stays with me, he finds me attractive no matter.

if that is true then why are the women in the tabloids and on TV skinny AND the most popular porn stars skinny?
To keep a guy interested sexually = skinny to keep a guy interested so he'll marry you = 10-12 size. Here's the thought process...a guy doesn't want to marry a girl that is too hot b/c he doesn't want to be fighting men off all the damned time and feel like he has to compete (especially the average man with an average job) if a dudes rich then he wants a hot skinny gf b/c he feels that his money will beat of the competition. Get it honey....
