Write it down. Documentation is everything when it comes to stuff like this.
Especially if he says something that is sexist but doesn't have anything to do with the actual learning process.
Then report him.

I have always been an advocate of speaking up, if this sexist teacher is saying things during class I would speak up and say what is on my mind. If it continues, speak to another teacher or classmates about what actions to take. You don't have to do anything alone I am sure other females in your class are also upset. Don't neglect your work in the class, study hard and do well.

I've never had a teacher who was overtly sexist, but I used to love seeing the shock in their faces when I kept getting the highest grades in my math and science classes.
Anyway, do like the poster above said. Write it all down.

If you can get some concrete proof of his remarks (this may require some audio recording), present it to the principal. Before that, go to him/her with all the girls toward whom he's made sexist remarks before.

Mellie is right. What I used to do in college is bring a little tape recorder to class, to record the lectures... if you do that, he's in deep sh!t!
Mike T is right too, get the A if you can. If he makes you feel uncomfortable and distracts you from actually learning, do go see the school shrink - it will be documented that way.

Get an A+ in his class.
He is clearly ignorant and its just a fact of life that some people will say things you don't like. You can complain about him, but if he is getting away with it, the people in charge probably share his views.

Call him on it, sweetie.
You know the other girls are offended by his behavior, as well.
Your class deserves to have a good teacher, and to hear this dialogue, so it might be up to you to initiate it.

Not sure theres much you can really do if he is subtle about it that you cant report. James Brown said it best " it's a man's world"

I love your question, but I cannot stand some of the answers you got.
You should be strong and intelligent and prove him wrong.
Arguing with him will do no good and 'telling on him' is weak and justifies his condescension.
(I am a strong woman who defies the sexism everyday)
