I find no reason why it should not be all right, I am a woman, and I have worn mens thermals underneath to stay warm. As to the color, that should not matter for they will not be seen.

Quite frankly, if they're going to be hidden under your clothes, the color doesn't matter. In my opinion, you should opt for tights instead of pantyhose. Pantyhose give some thermal effects, but not much to talk about unless you wear them in layers. Tights are thicker and at least carry more thermal value to them. If you have to go with pantyhose, make sure there's tons of spandex in the leg. Preferably over 30%.

If you want to wear pantyhose because you want to then join a theater with the showing of "Rocky Horror Picture Show". Or try the cross dressing thing. If you are looking for something to keep you warm, long johns work better.

Dude just wear winter underwear its a lot warmer than those sheer pantyhose. And where warm socks for your feet, nice winter boots. Forget the pantyhose it would probably make you itch with all that hair your probably have on your legs. The panty hose are so sheer you won't be much warmer with them on.

As mentioned above, Joe Namath is the most famous name to wear pantyhose. If it's ok for Broadway Joe, I wouldn't think it'd be a problem for you. I think a darker color like brown or black would be good to stay warm in.

"Are you serious Clark?" Whatever, shoot, but what if something happened to ya, if you slipped on the ice or some other incident and the ambulance came and got ya and had to strip your clothes off at the hospital and you got fricken pantyhose on, how would ya feel about that? I can see it now, lol, awww shyt, you might wanna think twice and get some thermals, they are warmer and not sooo eh, feminine. If your stuck on the pantyhose idea Victoria Secret has a hell of a selection.....stay warm.....

Only if he is gay. Gay men are the only men that can get away with wearing anything that is meant for women. If you want to stay warm, I would suggest long johns. They will keep you warm. Pantyhose won't keep you very warm any way and they are a major pain in the a**. No pun intended.

If you'd like to wear pantyhose, feel free. If you'd like to blame your harmless pantyhose fetish on the cold weather, that's OK too.
Definite nude color though. No control top either.

Want an even better idea to stay warm?
Wear lycra cotton/spandex cycling tights underneath, and heavyweight twill pants that are lightly snug, not too tight.
Forget the pantyhose! That is so nasty!
