I agree that some people are arrogant and think they must be heard, since they are so wonderful, according to them.
Others think the rules don't apply to them, and do everything they can to harass people.
Some say they're blocked because others can't handle their opinions. And some are right-their opinions are hateful, and many of us don't care to hear them! Other people I block not because of their opinions, but because I don't like them. Why on earth would we be interested in interacting with people we don't like, on a regular basis? What's ironic, is that these are the people who can't figure out why people block them, and are upset about it. lol

i have no clue!
i ended up blocking this one guy & he made two other accounts so he could keep sending me harassing emails & comments in my questions (this was actually in the parenting section, btw). i didn't get it, why not just let it be & get on with your life?? why do they care SO MUCH about whether or not they can have access to a specific person on here??
i'm blocked by a few people from this section, & i don't care. big whoop! & i didn't even do anything except disagree with them. in such an instance, i figure the blocker just can't handle any opposition.

We all like to make our opinions know around here. It can be rather frustrating to have a well planned answer for a potential troll...etc.. and find that you cannot give him/her..a proper what for!! I say to those who have been blocked and are upset... I have been blocked many times...you do not hear me whining about it!

Well, I was blocked by someone I thought I was cool with - and then they just blocked me! I guess maybe I insulted that person in some way.
Oh well - it surprises me but it doesn't ruin my day or anything. I just clock on another question.

There's no freedoms of speech on web sites belonging to someone else, such as Yahoo.
You register, you may post under their rules, if you want to post uncensored then get your own web space.
This is a questions and answer place, not a comedy club or obscene central, if you are not helping or politely debating then I doubt that you' re helping at all.

They forget about the freedom that people should have being free of harassment. I agree with you 100 percent.

Everyone thinks they should be heard and some people just don't want to hear it, America has become a bunch of bleeding hearts and whiners, it's sad considering our history... Good for you standing up for YOUR rights to take care of business...

some people are used to having their own way no matter what
some people, usually ones who talk fast with a loud voice, think they are always right about everything, because they have degrees or money or whatever
so when they get blocked, even for a few minutes, in any way, they can't handle it
this is how poor people maintain control of the rich folks

I could not agree with you more, most of these people are just a waste of time, I worry about my freedom of speech and they can worry about theirs.
