I'm sure most of us have seen it in action, right? So, why is it frequently shrugged off?

excerpt from: http://www.atyourcervixmovie.com/about.html

“Uncomfortable”; “Humiliating”; “Traumatic”; “Scarring”--words women too often use to describe pelvic exams. Most of the 90 million U.S. women who get pelvic exams think they are supposed to hurt. Women show disbelief when told that if done correctly on a healthy woman, pelvic exams should be pain-free.

The documentary, At Your Cervix, enters U.S. medical and nursing schools and breaks the silence around the unethical ways in which medical and nursing students learn to perform pelvic exams. These practices—which include nursing students being required to perform exams on each other in front of faculty and medical students “practicing” on unconscious, unconsenting patients—lead directly to the reality that most women find pelvic exams to be humiliating and painful. The existence of these egregious practices are challenged in the film...

Seriously, we all know that men are superior to women. Women are only good at cooking and taking care of kids. Women are only a source of entertainment for men and serve no other purpose. Why is it that god didn't make women as smart as men so they can atleast achieve something?

the general target audience is boys or girls under 19, yet i found this disturbing.

The ones that the target audience is boys was men doing stupid stunts or men caught being stupid like

Balls Of Steel
Dirty Sanchez
Wild Boyz
Jackass
Still Standing
Yes Dear
The Simpsons
Family Guy
Beavis And Butthead
South Park
Viva La Bam
Funniest Home Videos (yes there was a 4 year old naked urinating in the pool and you could see him all)

All these shows are men being stupid and running publicly naked or are the stupid husband/brother/uncle etc.

I could go on but i need to get to my question. So i found shows that target girls under 19 and it all seems to be encouraging them:

Hannah Montanna
Lizzie Mcquire
H20 Just add Water
Blue Water High

What effect do you think these shows have on boys and girls? I think it's to teach girls to be strong and boys to make a living being dumb as dog sh!t. It seems as the years go on it gets worse...

My 18yr old 9lb ball of machismo was put to sleep .Any ideas on constructivly dealing with loss?

My 18yr old 9lb ball of machismo was put to sleep . My little miniture pinscher . He never knew his size . He was not mean or malicious but he loved to play . He would play with pitbulls and rottweilers .

Sometimes he would make cute little "monkey-pig" sounds .

Sometimes he would sound like a cross between Daffy and Donald Duck when he was play growling .

A vacume cleaner to him was the terminator and his mission in life was to slay vacume cleaners.

Phrases that come to mind with him are: "Now your playing with power , portable pinscher power" or "sick , attack , kill be cute .......well at least he got one of em right "

My son renamed him from Schwartzkoft to Geeker . He had a midlife name change .My son could not say Schwartzkoft and called him geekoff by mistake . I think my sons mother put him up to it . He was a geek , a nerd and a clown .

When ever my son ca

Imagine you're forced to spend 24h as someone of the opposite gender. You'd have to find a temporary job, no one will recognize you, and you'll spend those days under a presumed, forged, identity.
What will you do?

Because of feminism, single guys these days have suffered the expense of having to spend much more money on hired dosmestic help than when wives were expected to automatically arrive on the alter like char women with a broom, a dustpan, a sewing kit and her mother's cookbook.

Since the feminist movement you have all the girly-men bending over backwards to please women day in and day out. It was these girly-men who gave women the rights they have NOW.

Are women satisfied? NOPE.. they disrespect men all day and manipulate them for their own ends. Yet, still complain. Todays women are selfish, can't cook, have macho attitudes, yet expect to get good men.

Ok women.. you've had a good 40-70 year run with YOUR issues. Now its time to get back in the house and start pleasing men again. I'm tried of meeting the same old useless women. After a while sex gets old and you want something more. Like a good houswife who is in it for the FAMILY and not HERSELF.

Taking into consideration the fact that the male child today is exposed to a lot of skin show on television and lots of news of violence against women, what steps should be taken to ensure that he grows up to be a man who has not only high respect for women but also sensitivity towards them?

...knowing that she had a much easier physical test than the men and wasn't held to the same standards?

Should physical tests be toned down to let women pass them?

Is that fair to weaker men that also can't pass the standard test?

Do you think it oversteps the boundaries of equality to fight for equal outcome instead of just equal opportunity?

I'm so tired of hearing women being judged more for indulging in their sexuality. I am a woman, but I think the whole idea of being whore for liking sex seems foreign to me. I certainly hear it all the time now, especially on this website, and it surprises me that people still impose double standards to that degree.

I feel like if I subscribe to the fact that I must be more chaste than men then I'm allowing the world to hate women. But if I don't, I can't keep a man when I want to because I've been labeled a "whore." I love sex and I have a sex drive equal to any man's and I'm tired of having to hide it because it might offend someone. I'm sick of hearing about how women don't want sex. I do want sex and I'm not a whore for saying that. It's enough to make me want to swear off men because if I'm with them I'm expected to live by their flawed rules about when I can and can't want it.

But what control does any individual have to change these norms?

Most of those who style themselves 'feminist' don't know what it is, it seems to mean different things to different folk. To many it's just a word they've read in a book. Most young women just think it is "trendy" to call themselves feminists. Thoughts, please.

I'm not talking about employers who threaten women with dire consequences if they don't submit to their advances; clearly that is wrong. But what about instances where oblivious, annoying men pester you for dates and such, without ever crossing a line? Shouldn't these matters be resolved between the two parties, without intervention of higher ups? Can't ladies stand up for themselves (in this situation)?

Some American women see it as a right of passage as they get older to have their faced pulled, peeled, plucked, and carved. These procedures are painful, expensive, and life-threatening. We have television shows depicting how such procedures can effect positive change in anyone's life (Extreme Makeover, DR 90210). Is this vanity of is it something deeper? Is the increase in plastic surgery a feminist issue?
