I have noticed how much criticism I have obtained by being blatant about womens rights, but what sort of subtle ways can we go about gaining respect and recognition? Also is there anyone out there who is thinking along these lines and making differences,, what sort of work are you doing?

I mean think about it! WE AreThe ONES in control! Men wouldn't cheat on us if we let it be known that not only will we NOT PUT UP WITH being cheated on, BUT we will not stoop so low as to be the "other woman". We need to step up as a whole and have some respect for ourselves, no man is worth losing your self respect over! And if none of us are letting men cheat WITH us or ON us, then we will once again regain control of the situation! BECAUSE right now there are tooo many of us out to get each other.....instead of standing strong with each other. And we can't blame this on the men, because WE are the one's that set the boundries and WE are the ones that are screwing ourselves over. men will only go as far as you let them.... if you let them walk all over you, then they will! SO STOP LETTING THEM! Do you agree? How do you think we can change this together?

I'm currently 20 to be 21 in Feb. I have had only 1 girl friend my entire life and she broke up with me saying I was, "Too nice." Since then I have only been on a few dates here and there and they have turned out to be insensitive sluts that like to mess with guys and can't date anybody from where they live because everybody knows how they are. Is it possible that i'm too nice or what? Because I know i'm not ugly I get complimented on all the time about being, 'hott', and 'cute'.

It's my body, and my choice, right? But no doctor will do it. No surgeon will do it. No doctor will refer me to anyone that would. But if it's MY body and MY choice, shouldn't I have the right to choose whether or not I want to keep my arm, especially if I don't really use it, and I don't think I need it. Why is it any different with an unborn child?

This may sound like an odd question from a woman. Why do feminsts claim they don't need men, but 98% of all the tools they use daily and will use were and are invented by men? These inventions inlcude anything from bras, to makeup, (Max Factor) to computers, to cars, to just about anything.

My point is, if feminists claim to simply want respect, why not lead by example and show respect first? Isn't it true that women's lives have been made as much easier through the contributions of men as much as feminism itself?

I don't mean to sound like a traitor, but if women are going to deny truth, then are they liberated or encaged in lies?

Hi its lunch now and Im in the school library (its the only place where they have the wireless) cranking out another question on my laptop on yahoo answers while violating the rules about eating in the library (lol). Anyway we just finished an assembly where the subject was various services offered by the school, counseling, aids prevention counseling, etc. The school social worker spoke about abortions and family planning clinics and how she would help any girl who came to her with that issue. I became enraged and almost spoke out loud but held myself. I think that the ripping of a human life out of its mother is MURDER period. I personally struggle with my "hormones" constantly and have a boy friend who does the same. My parents and his mom still allow us to be friendly because hes such a greaaat guy and hes soooo drop dead good looking too but if we went too far I would NEVER abort his baby. I plan to remain a virgin and I want my boy to stay innocent.

This is a great question, it seems to me or is evident that women at first think irrational about finding a mate and choose the good for nothing men because of the attraction of power, then time and time again finally get the point of thinking logically and say to themselves I need a guy with such and such qualities as a mate, and by then more problems arise by having children and baggage from past relationships. My evidence is with co-workers, acquaintances, seperated wives, and even strippers!
An example would be in the movie the 40 year old virgin, the guy finally gets a woman with baggage, children, etc.... time and time again after dealing with jerks finally realizes in her old age that she needs a man with positive qualities and it takes a virgin who is truly desperate to have a woman to accept all the baggage that she has with her. That is just sad.

This question is for women recovering from drug addiction or current abusers and dependent women. Have you noticed more intense urges during PMS, I think its a legitimate question and if there is a connection it needs to be addressed. Even if you found yourself wanting to use or drink as a form of pain relief or extra mood control around that time of the month please let me know. I guess most dependent womwen will relate if you consider the times when you attempted to become abstinent from drugs and you experienced monthly hormonal changes including mood and cravings for certain foods and drug s or alcohol.
