I just heard from an expert that 90% of all women have either been or wanted a relationship with another woman. Do you agree? Your answer has to be convincing, cause a lot of people would never admit it, I guess, to keep up a "clean" image,

on girls under the age of 18. However in the cultures that practice this barbaric ritual, women, regardless of their age generally have no say in their lives, the men, be it their husbands or fathers, have all the say in what happens to them. Women have no recourse and most often times, no voice in these relationships. Don't you agree that the practice should be banned outright, completely from being performed on any female whatsoever? I think the us government is being very lax in their duty to prevent human rights violations in this case, not to mention many others, but I am only specifically talking about this one at the moment.

I am interested in hearing what replies people have given to others when they first tell you that they love you and you're not ready to say it back. Do you just smile and say thank you? Do you give them a hug and tell them they're sweet? What would you do or what have you done??

I'm 22 and undergoing laser treatments to remove the facial hair that make me look like a bear. I have had only one session so far, but I took a Vitamin E pill on the day after it. Was I stupid to do this as the concentrated Vitamin E is gonna nourish the hair follicles again, thereby making them lose the effect of the laser light?

I have a wonderful husband of 20 years. We have never had any marriage problems and love each other very much. We have 4 great kids. Here is my issue, I have thoughts about someone I met several years ago. I can't get him off my mind. No matter how hard I try, I think about him all the time. I have no contact with this man at all. Nothing sexual ever happened between us, not even a hint of anything like that ever occured. I just cant seem to help my thoughts. Any clue what to do to get over this guy. He lives in another state, so it's not like I'm tempted to see him or even call him for that matter.

I cannot understand the thinking of our social lobby groups.
For every one woman that has a violence committed against her..... 3 men do.
Men suffer from violent assult 3 times more than women do, yet no one seems to give a toss about them.
So if I am assaulted, does that make it less of a crime because I hail from the same demographic as my assailant?

Okay, put aside whether her comments about Steve Irwin were valid (I think a consensus has been reached on this). Does anyone think it was okay to publish this garbage the day after he died?

Was this just the desperate attempt of a has been to get noticed? Is simply trying to get noticed what she has been trying to do for the last 40 years?

How else can we explain her book "the beautiful boy" which contains 200 photos of teenage boys and caused the guardian to describe her as a "middle aged pederast"?

I know we women want to be know for more than just our appearance, but I think I can safely say, we all love to feel beautiful.

Are you proud of your boobs, large or small? Are they just the right size? Do they sway and bounce oh so elegantly? Do they force down even the strongest man's eyes? What do you appreciate about them the most?

As my name implies, I for one love my boobs. I love when I'm in a rush and walking fast, joggin, or running and can't help but notice my boobs sway. I especially love when I come to a sudden halt. That's when they bounce the greatest.

Any other women on here feel totally degraded

when a man says that you can't:

-do something that you really can do but he's convinced that you can't? How rude, isn't it? If you say you can do something, obviously you CAN, wow.. please get over yourself if you're too insecure that you can't let a woman do something that she can do.
-can't do certain things because you're a girl? (fits in with the first one, I guess.)
-you can't drive certain vehicles because you're a girl? First off, yes, I can. Driving abilities aren't based on gender anyway, so what the heck are you talking about? Some men are better drivers than some women, and some women are better drivers than some men. Deal with it.
-when a man says that a man is superior to women?-- now this one really pisses me off. Go to China if you can't agree with the U.S.A.'s constitution which states that ALL people are equal.

People's ignorance really, really frustrates me.

Who else agrees with this?

I am a right-libertarian. I believe in a very small, very weak government and prefer a laissez-faire approach. I oppose many forms of welfare, labor regulations, subsidies, and social programs.

However, I also believe all humans have equal rights, and that all people should be judged as individuals. In my opinion, men and women should be able to do whatever they want, so long as they have the ability, means, and consent of others involved.

I would like to consider myself a feminist, but it seems that many feminist organizations have a definite left-leaning orientation. Many feminist groups advocate things like universal healthcare, equal pay laws, or special legal protections for women. As a libertarian, I can not support using the state to achieve these goals, just as I would oppose laws against racist speech even though I hate racism.

Can I still be a feminist, if I oppose gender roles and discrimination, but NOT using the state to oppose them? Or must I be a progressive?
