I'm not talking about evolution in the Darwinian sense, but in the social sense!

To those who answered this question with "god is neither male nor female" I appreciate your views, but I'm talking historical evolution here. Our history is patriarchal, from the stone ages to the middle ages, and to the present. That Eve was taken from the rib of man has informed many of today's "civilized" cultures. Women were once thought to be inferior, and their rights were non-existent. Most societies have progressed (evolved) in that regard, as well as in regards to child-rearing, work conditions, racial equality, and more. My question, then, isn't about what God is or isn't, but rather how would humanity have been/grown differently had God always been thought to be a woman? Had Adam sprung from the rib of Eve? Had She created the world in seven days?
