I am attracted to older man (much older --10 to 20 years my seniors) but 3 yrs ago I divorced a man 20 yrs older - I do not want to fall for the same type of man. I want to fall in love with man more or less my age. What should I do with this fatal attraction?

I tried eharmony for 6 months, two guys traveled across the country to meet me, the one I had most chemistry with (besides the rest in common) dumped me when he met someone in person, later he regreted it and wanted me back -however, I cannot trust a man that does that to me once.

Pratice. Start going on dates with the type of guy you want to go for.
That could help, but if you fall for someone why does it matter if he's older than you. If you feel it isn't that better than forcing yourself to feel something that isn't really there?

You're attracted to older men, but want to fall for a man more or less your age. You're contradicting yourself. What's fatal about your attraction? So one didn't work out. Who's to say that another older man wouldn't fulfill your expectations? You can't judge everyone by one unsuccessful experience. One bad apple doesn't necessarily spoil the whole bushel. What it boils down to is that age isn't the issue. When you find a man that you love, the number of birthdays he's had shouldn't influence your decision.

well if you are not attracted to men your age theres not much you can do,however if you are then just go out and get you the hottest man you find that is closer to your age have a lot of fun doing things that you both like or even things that maybe you have never done do to the fact that you were married to someone much older. but there is nothing wrong with falling in love with someone older. love doses not know age or color its just there for the taking
