i dreamt that i was in a convertible version of my current car( 2 door car), i was in the back seat with the top down and i kept telling my husband (who was driving) "wow, i didnt realize how comfortable it is back here, and so roomy" i was very happy, the wind was blowiing in my hair and i was able to breath with ease.

what does this mean?

There is no immediate financial incentive, deadline, or other external pressure to motivate me. The internal pressure/incentive comes from wanting to academically achieve more than my parents (older generation), enjoying learning, the challenge of acheiving the highest level of education I can, and yes, the "Dr" sounds good behind my name :) However, I know I will continue postponing it because I'm intimdated by the horror stories, it's a large task and I'm afraid of starting and failing.

Please don't tell me how I don't need to go for it or try to discourage me. I'm looking for tips to mentally push and motivate myself to start the process.

I dreamt I was at home, & my phone kept ringing - constantly, but I didn't know the number so I didn't answer. Whoever it was kept hanging up and calling right back, so finally I answered. When I would hang up, the phone in the other room would ring, and I would run to that room to get the phone. While I was on that call, the phone in another room would ring. Long story short, I was running from room to room, trying to get to each call, and the phones were ringing non stop. Each call, the caller ID had the same cell number, but each caller was a different person. And some calls were sales calls, some were the wrong number, some were people asking me random questions about my job, my friends, whatever. I wasn't scared or anything - just rushing to get all the calls and confused about why they all came from the same number. It was a cell number, no area code, and I still remember it. I have never heard of this number before. It's a weird dream, but I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks!

I mean, watching paint dry would be a more productive way to spend time than to be a busybody with regard to the private lives of other people, whether they are celebrities or not. None of my business *what* they do. Whether it's getting pregnant at 16, or getting arrested for something, or even getting married. How BORING!! Why would *anyone* give a flying rat's patoot about such things? Are there really that many people out and about who have NO lives to the extent that they need to get off on busybodyism?

couple of nights ago i had a dream. my dad was stabbed in a parking lot and when i tried to find a knife to help him, i could not find any. i don usually believe in dream interpretations and stuff, but this dream is driving me crazy. can anyone tell me if this dream actually means anythin?

HI, I am in my second yr of college and am majoring in business and journalism. I was pushed into a business major because my parents thought it would be best for me. I added a major in journalism on, so i could do something I liked. I am scared, all this writing is going to make me hate something I love to do when I am upset.

This last semester was the worst I have ever experienced, and got my first d ever, and in advanced Calc. I suck with numbers, and have always strived off creativity.

I want to change my major and possibly to education- I love kids i already do a ton of stuff with children every day, I coach a basketball team, I work at church for children's bible.

I love them. But making the change, I am scared my parents will disown me- obviously I suck at business stuff. I somewhat attamepted to talk to my mom about it and she claimed i was selling myself short.

That hurt.

I need guiadnce. I have been so depressed cuz I am so confused anymore.

Been feeling down for a while. Got dumped with no explanation (meet loads of guys that like me, but none stuck around). No idea why and neither do my friends. Moved house so I have to travel further to work. Job is ok, but boring. Can’t remember the last time I slept properly. Failed my driving test for the 4th time this morning! Always feeling useless and tried.

Got a "fun" 2nd job at a theatre so I could meet more people my age, get extra money and have fun (I love the performing arts.) But I get home late and it makes me more tired. I was hoping to audition for drama school to start in September, but stopped learning my lines because I was so down.
Have tried being positive, but I feel I have to make some big changes in my life.

Want to get a job closer to home, but feel like I should stay at least a year because it looks good on a CV.

Just want more time to myself and to allow myself to heal. But can’t decide what to do. Am so confused, my life just isn’t going right.

I have known a few girls that have recurring rape fantasies. In my limited experience, these girls have masochistic traits to their personalities. And when I say masochistic, I don't just mean sexually, I mean in many aspects of their lives.

What do others think? Does the existence of recurring fantasies of being raped show a strong masochistic streak

We were all at my Mother n law's for Christmas. My husband wasn't there yet. Things were going wrong. I forgot to put the turkey in and there was no breakfast etc. THEN I invited this big black guy over to the house. We were making out on the couch "and stuff". RIght on the couch in front of everyone! They didn't say anything though. THen my husband showed up. I hurriedly pushed the guy out of the back door. When my husband came in I just pretended nothing was wrong but he could tell something was up. What does it mean?? I have a recurring dream like this a lot. Its not the same but I'll be cheating on my husband and he comes in right after its over and I lie about it! Usually I can tell that he knows whats going on. Sometimes he calls me out sometimes he doesn't. We haven't always had the best relationship but now we do. I LOVE my husband and will never cheat on him! What the heck does it all mean?????????

some people dont realize of small actions that they do in life changes their whole life completely. For example, "if i did not run into this person I would be doing this? If I did not buy this I would have....? If I did not meet this person........? Or even a huge action in your life such as, " if I did not join the Marine; I would be......? I'm nt happy with docs for the past few years, atleast in India. I've found that wen I go to a doc, they don even care to listen to what I have to say. It is a kno-all attitude. They prescribe something ,ask u to just eat it. Once I asked a doc wat was the problem, and he wouldn't answer! All he had to say was take these pills;it will be alright. Once I went to the extent of saying I din come 4 a prescription; jus tell me what's rong with me. Note:this is not wrt one doc, it is my exp with many , some from good hospitals
My aunt had a similar experi when she had an xray taken.Being a biology teacher had a doubt why formation of one bone was in an odd way. The doc without speaking, ordered xray of the other arm and then showed her: see they are same. so it is ok! just to prove a point!!! as if talking to a moron!!!
MY FRIEND is now sick. fever relapsed twice. But she is not willing 2 go 2 a doc watever i say.Bcoz she doesnt like the "I KNO ALL, U KNO NOTHING" ATTITUDE!!!ur views,exp?

It seems like everyone is being a pill! I come to work and people are complaining and being sarcastic and negative. I go home, and my boyfriend doesn't feel well and is permanently attached to his solitaire game. Life is so much better when we're happy! How can i get people to cheer up? and paired them up to work out their frustration behind closed doors, they would come out with a smile on their face, seeing the world differently? Or would the bitterness and hatred still stand?
