When your not happy with the limit it's a problem.
If the partner is limiting your bad behaviour like drinking, drug use it might be a good thing.
When they limit you talking to family and friends it's a bad thing.

if he says he wants me to stop working and stay at home, I get rid of him. Not so much that I'm all modernized but I lose my equality that way. I can humble down a notch or two here and there but I didnt spend so many brain cells to be told what to do.

Limits -

I would decide who has to go to the fridge after sex and get something to eat.

Anymore than that and I would consider her a nagging ***** that wants a ASAP relationship

He has No control over me - so no limits.
I choose for myself what to do and when to do it.
Bonus, he likes me, I like him, I ask him please to help me, he asks me to please help him.
Love does not force, or control. Love gives love, love gives kindness, love gives patience, love gives freedom. I choose to stay with him, he chooses to stay with me, because we love each other.

uuum.....ZERO!

I'm grown and they are grown. It's not about 'control', it should be about 'compromising' and come to a mutual agreement.
