Why is it that when i have a cold or a flu i go to bed sleep and have a dream like anyone does.. If only i could recall it i could of told you it now.. I wont now what my dream was until the following night as it works best for me to recall.

I get angry and annoyed so easily. When I am talking to my friends or when my parents ask me a very stupid question, I get very impatient and mad. My tone changes to very mean and awful. I just cannot stand it. I feel I get it from my mom. She is impatient and I think it rubbed off on me. I feel so mad at myself for being like this and I want to know how to control it. How do you normally control yourself?

Some people are very formal, and will rarely do more than shake hands.

Others will hug near perfect strangers.

In France it is typical to kiss on either cheek as a greeting and as a goodbye.

Do you have a hierarchy of hugs/cuddles/handshakes/waves? Does it completely depend on the person you want to demonstrate affection towards?

Are you comfortable with how people demonstrate their affection towards you?

For you - are there significant differences in the way *you think* affection should be shown between the genders (example you may prefer men handshake with men, women hug men and women, men do not hug men)

How do you show you affection? How do you decide?

I have reocurring dreams about this. Today I dreamed that I was going a direction with people and as we were going forward it seemed like structures were forming like a simple amusement ride. Not wanting to go on the ride I went backward and it collapsed. I was told that it had something to do with alcoholizm (as a sober alcoholic). placed on a device I had information fed into me I saw it as a flood of text. I was told to come up with a creative answer to a question. The nurse had what seemed to be an orange torch and I was told that where I was the torch would not hurt, but be uncomfortable.

Other dreams are like; the idea that people need to find out what is wrong with me and if I get too messed up I would have to just be a mind hooked up to computers

Don't think I'm on some sort of high horse, I've experienced my fair share of jealousy.

But some people are mean about it. What's the best thing to do when people are jealous of you?

since HS ive had a big group of friends that is very diverse, not ethnicity-wise but personality-wise. We are so different, people noone would ever imagine would hang out with each other, theres the president of the Christian Club, an Atheist artist, theres the over achiever thats n every club, the slacker that disappears for months at a time, etc but somehow, we all got along perfectly and is able to stay close friends. within that group tho, we sometimes have our own little cliques, the ones that get along better with each other. My little group was perfect, i wasable to be exactly who i was and not be judged for it, we all talked crap and laughed, and, well we just had fun. After HS tho my little group within the group moved away, everyone moved to a different town and i was left here.

Obviously, people are all different.

But imagine that all you know about someone is that they are a masculinist. You have never seen them, met them or talked to them.

What mental picture do you have of that person, if any?

I just came across a few 1998 articles about bank practices. Do you realize that in 1973 ( that is only 34 years ago!!) married women were not issued credit cards in their own name? That most women could not get a bank loan without a male co-signer?

Amazing is it not? Thank goodness times are changing. Slowly but surely in my opinion! :)

In my opinion the rain forest is the issue that needs the most help because as the generations pass by there might not be enough supplies for those who are barely starting out in the world.

I am a woman..who cannot understand this guy I met recently in my job. We've often flirted before and had a connection..he even told me he was falling for me one day when we chatted..then one day you know kisses etc but not sex (he tried, but Im the type that waits a bit) . Seems like the usual start of something but yhe didn't contact me next day, or next day, or next day!! I contacted him and suggested meeting up...and he didn't reply...until a few days later & its too late as I had left my city to go back to mine. then he contacted me on and off but never talk about his feelings. now he is calling me to say he will come to see me (I live in another state) and I hear feelings in his voice. WHAT'S GOING ON IN THIS MAN'S HEAD? Is he a bit unstable? It seems strange to me. We have mutual friends and they think highly of him. Did he feel rejected when I didnt move as quickly as him physically?

I'm 20 - 5'8" - 135 lbs, and I have blond hair and a baby face. This is definately not the first post on the topic of being small and miserable. Most people respond by writing something along the lines of, "Women don't care about looks. Just personality." I think people are confusing how things should be with how they really are. The truth is- all the girls i've met aren't even willing to find out what kind of personality I do have. All of them are waiting for that tall, dark and handsome guy to come along and sweep them off their feet. I guess the message I am trying to send to all of you small guys out there is this: Yes, being small sucks. Other guys make fun of us, and the majority of women are only looking at the tall guy over our shoulders. It's a fact of life, which nobody can deny! All we can do is try to bulk up, or pray to God for a miracle.

Does anyone have some input? I'd really like to know what the girls out their have to say.

According to certain ''feminists'' on here, women were only included in History books when feminism came along and wrote ''women's history'' books. It's funny because they value those books as ''unbiased'', yet books written by males, according to them, are ''biased'', and left women out. Is this ANOTHER case of hypocrisy? Feminist-written books are unbiased, and male ones are?

I have this dream ALOT. I'm always looking for it in a parking lot and it's never where I thought I parked it. Or I've found it and all four wheels have been stolen. Mostly, I'm wandering aimlessly through rows of cars in a parking lot and I can't find it anywhere.

I tend to talk too much too fast - and I try to relax and make an effort to listen more and talk slower. but I still get myself into trouble, and I often share way more than I want to share. It isn't a good thing. A lot depends on the comfort level I have with the person I'm talking with..
I am a man, but in general I'm far more comfortable talking to women.
not sure why.
