I sometimes dream about my closest friend and I getting shot by random people.. What does this mean??

It is nice you have such a close relationship to your closest friend. The emotional flavor of these dreams would be what to look at. Getting shot by random people does show an insecurity about ones safety. This anxiety can be addressed through meditation/prayer. One needs to trust the spiritual laws of the universe to some degree when it comes to being safe, although one needs to always be careful.
Edit: I misread the wording of the dream. I guess you feel unsafe for some reason when with your best friend, I hope your best friend does not tend to make enemies.

this interpretation relates to the matter that your feeling cautious or worried about people finding out about you and your friend. Don't try and hide it, they will eventually find out.
