“The Beginning”

Losing you would mean taking that one chance
I went out on that one limb and went for the dance.
Thinking everything was perfect, nothing was wrong.
When I was with you, I never felt so strong.

Without you by my side, without you here
Not loving you anymore is my biggest fear.
Only wanting me when no one is around
When we are with a crowd, you don’t make a sound.

This may not mean a goodbye for now,
But as for the moment, I am down.
Everyone has bumps in their life.
That doesn’t mean it gets twisted like a knife.

And Then Things Changed…

Knowing better, I am going to open up this one last time.
Unlike before, I will not fall for you like a drop of a dime.
Being with you, it is like nothing before, I can’t forget.
Although you might hurt me, I will never regret.

The times we have spent together and the ones to come
I don’t know where my feelings for you came from.
Maybe nothing is really wrong and you do love me.
Only the future will tell

If a person's sex fantasies are very elaborate, what does it mean? Like, instead of just a person, you imagine elaborate scenarios, kinky back stories, exotic locales, and other things. Like, you turn your fantasy into something almost like a story.

Is this a sign that you have a very active imagination? That you fantasize too much? What?

So my dream started out that i was in the bath and on the phone with some friends who were inviting me to swiming with orcas. (I dont know these people in real life) so then next thing im in the ocean swimming and when im done i start to climb back on the boat and the whale grabs me and pulls me under water. Then it gives birth and brings its baby right up to me to touch it. Then being face to face with the whale i think oh this means im pregnant. And that was it. I was also very aware that i was dreaming when this was happening. Its like i just went along with it to see what would happen. I dont think im realy pregnant. Any ideas??

I was sexually harassed by a close person at the age of 5, i still remeber every thing, in details, the three times! i blame my self that i didn't react! i was a little shy girl, (& at the age of 22 i m still shy & discreet) i believe that, that was the start of all my faults..
I still see that man & talk to him as nothing happened , now he has a wife & 03 childs.. i don't know what to think of him, or what to do to forget that..

Would you say that it is normal to have incest fantasies, as long as they aren't your real family. How common are they?

Like if someone said a fantasy about having a threesome with twin sisters, or a mother and daughter. Then there is the famous fictional movie series Taboo, with Kay Parker. Again, not anyone you know in real life or your own family.

So how common and healthy are these and other incest fantasies?

I'd guess that they are sort of common, and that they occur because people like to have taboo fantasies they'd never actually do.

Is it ultimately the mother's fault, because of perhaps the way she was raised as a child herself or perhaps she didn't do the best job she could as a mother?
I can see that there is obviously something wrong with what I asked above, that it's women who should get the blame for a crime their child commits but my point is, why is it always the mother who is blamed?
I wouldn't go as far as saying that it's the fathers fault as well in the name of equality because nowadays men are more involved in child rearing, but why is the grown up child not held solely accountable for their own misdeeds?
Are mothers today being made scapegoats for all of societies ills, besides feminists?

I'm wondering if Rage and bouts of rage in an instant for no reason is associated with ADHD. I find my self with this kind of rage when i was younger though it was just mild cases and only let me self out of control twice. But I am noticing a pattern that most ppl that i know who has ADHD do not only have thoughts of suicide but also Fighting in Rage. And a few do acually do it uncontrolably. IS there a link with ADHD and Rage as there is a Link with ADHD and Suicide?

Though I understand that Suicide is linked to ADHD because the ADHD person is normally outcasted becuase of the weirdness and the annoyingness and the constant moving that normal people can't stand, Thus making feel like an outsider and prone to be tease and ridiculed for most of thier life esp at a young age around JRHS and HS.

(Please don't post that ADHD isn't real or is fake)

How many of you who are not considered pretty or good looking by today's standards have noticed that pretty people have it easier than the rest of humanity not blessed with a pleasant face or body?

How many of you know Tyra Banks? Tyra did a show where she dressed up as a fat woman. Tyra wanted to know what it felt like to live as a fat woman in America. So, Tyra went out into society searching for employment, searching for friends at a local NYC bar, just living an ordinary life.

Guess what?

People treated Tyra (not knowing it was the beautiful model) like dirt. Men rejected Tyra (dressed up as a fat woman); they did not want to be seen talking with her in public. How simplistic we as human beings can be.

How many of you can relate to this Tyra Banks experience?

Have heard this catch-phrase alot being used to describe what women unfairly want today, special privileges without responsibility.
Such as being treated equally yet still having men behave in a chivalrous manner towards them.
Am wondering if the other side of the coin has been considered, that it could be said that some men are wanting special privileges as well, by not wanting women to be on an equal footing and to treat women as lesser beings, yet will no longer be chivalrous either to the "weaker sex" as they see us.
Thoughts?
And notice that I said "some" men, not by any means all men.

What do you make of the following case?

A person moves into the city and rents a room after obtaining a job at a restaurant. The landlady allows her niece to move in without notice after she decides to leave her home town to finish school. She comes down and forces herself on the landlady. The woman begins beating and verbally abusing the three-year-old daughter immediately. There are twenty-one incidents counted in less than two weeks. The matter is mentioned to the landlady by the new resident, who has been there less than one month and did not expect this lady to move in.

The landlady sides with her niece and insists that she'd 'cut off the child's hands herself' if she keeps going into items at the grocery store. One late afternoon the new resident comes home and goes downstairs to avoid the chain-smoking, verbally abusive, -oriented and Internet crazy woman yelling at her child. She goes downstairs and begins to work on an art project, with the radio on full blast to drown out the sounds of the yelling. The niece starts to beat the three-year-old. The new resident runs upstairs and tells her to stop doing it, to distract attention. Her cell phone is upstairs along with her uniform and her keys, shoes and purse are downstairs. There are no locks on any inside doors, no way out of the basement and she'd have to return downstairs to get her things.

The niece begins slapping and pushing the new resident after an exchange of words, mostly insults with no meaning. She yells, pushes and gangs up on the new resident, not allowing her to leave. They are located in the front living room. The niece has the phone by the computer, which is behind her. She pushes the new resident twice against a loose shoe rack against the wall, which nearly falls on her. The niece slaps and threatens to kill the new resident.

She gets away and grabs a glass. She tells the niece to get away from her or she will hit her with the glass. The niece jumps her, pushes her head into the hardwood cement floor (which leads later on to a concussion), busts her knees open and it starts bleeding and after a struggle with the niece on top, the new resident gets up and gets away and strikes the niece on the head three times after she (the niece) lunges at her. There is little difference in the strength, body size and physical makeup between the two as described.

The niece grabs a towel and the phone. She is bleeding. The child screams. The new resident tells her she is going to the police and goes upstairs and then downstairs to get her things and then leaves, walking two kilometres to the police station. She reports the matter to the police who tell her to return to the resident, wait outside and then they will come. They agree that it was necessary and they are worried for the child because of the niece's actions towards her. The new resident returns after a quick stop at a convenience store and is unarmed. The police arrest her and take her in, charging her with assault with a weapon.

The defense counsel agrees that it is self-defense but that is 'was excessive'. The crown prosecutor pays to have the woman brought down, but has no idea what the 'weapon' was, believing it to be a beer mug or a tea cup. There is no motive. The defense concludes that they have little evidence and no motive. There is no presentation of physical evidence, no doctor's reports, no eyewitness accounts, no samples, no pictures, no police present at court, etc. just the niece who has healed completely with no damage or physical scarring. The crown prosecutor is convinced she was struck ten times but there is no evidence to support this claim. What do you make of this case?

I can spend my entire paycheck on lottery tickets(and lose my house), the state makes a killing(on legalized gambling), yet I cannot play 2-bit poker at my house without violating the law.

Before slavery was outlawed, it WAS the norm, and socially accepted. Before state-sanctioned racisim was outlawed by the Civil Rights movement, not too many people had an issue with those "Whites Only" signs.

Because the "law" gives me the right to do something, does that somehow cloud(or validate) a tough decision?

I'm constantly laughing.. and I mean CONSTANTLY. If something happens, I'll laugh at it for about 5 minutes, or think about it later and burst out laughing. I often watch how everyone often forgets about it, but I don't. I'm not even an outgoing person, I'm actually pretty depressed.. yet I'm ALWAYS laughing. I'm really starting to think it's unhealthy, and I HATE it! What is wrong with me? Everyone thinks I'm weird because of this. I'm starting to think I have some type of weird problem. Is this normal?

Or are gender roles just social constructs invented to justify behaviour?
For instance, men always argue that they are programmed to seek beauty in a mate to ensure the continuity of their genes. That's why they focus on beautiful women and treat them better than average or plain women - that's why monogamy is (allegedly) so difficult.

Have their been any definitive studies that prove it is really social conditioning and ego, not biology, that drives this behaviour?

The same with the women are nurturers and should stay home and men are hunter/gatherers and should work outside the home to be providers - is it all just bias based around excluding women from the chance to be economically independent from men?

Why do i feel this way, the inadequacy has hit home and i can longer focus on important things anymore. I can't even enjoy simplist endeavors like conversing with my fellow post-secondary classmates. What the hell is wrong with me, do i need councelling?
