I am sorry if I am wrong but Ithink I am right and that is what is' love 'all about my friend Pooja! It is in nature and it is human and nothing can be done about that! Those who get that love from somebody are extremely lucky but many times one won't realize what one possesses till he/she loses it or unfortunately many times people tend to shower it on people who have scant regard for that. It doesn't have any logic whatsoever ,nothing to do with deserving features, assets ,qualities, skills ,status, compassion, nice by nature, education ....At times parents/siblings have such affection towards a related one but usually it will have a silly/irrational logic of its own. Most of times the deserving by conventional standards do not get it at all !!

Sounds more like a social equilibrium thing where you established a certain "rapor" with the social structure within which you are living. You have managed to manipulate your's and other's lives into a web of self agrandizing behavior where if one does not behave accordingly they are punished by some degree untill you have the recompensation you need to continue. You need them to behave as they do otherwise you cant do what you do which is show your superiority in your wonderfull ability to overcome and be above all the negative consequences that others produce.
In the end it is just another alcoholic game of some sort even if alcohol is not present.

Because you become Co-Dependent with this individual you share in the reason. I suggest you read " Co-Dependent No More". The other person does not love YOU, you see, when they abuse you and you need to recognize that as I did. They book doesn't tell you leave. It gives you options and give you food for thought on how to react differently. It gives you coping skills to better react to the abuser. This book opened my eyes and it is part of what gave me the courage to remove myself from the abuse and to recognize what is abuse.
I am now in a much better situations with a guy(husband) who treats me like a queen. This book will teach you how to make observations and help you whether you leave or stay to be at a better leverage point and happier life. Good luck!

we do so out of blind faith and love, by ignoring their mistakes we encourage them to commit more and mistakes, we have to stop this,
