Is the psychology of Doctors in India changing? I am fed up with their attitude.?

I'm nt happy with docs for the past few years, atleast in India. I've found that wen I go to a doc, they don even care to listen to what I have to say. It is a kno-all attitude. They prescribe something ,ask u to just eat it. Once I asked a doc wat was the problem, and he wouldn't answer! All he had to say was take these pills;it will be alright. Once I went to the extent of saying I din come 4 a prescription; jus tell me what's rong with me. Note:this is not wrt one doc, it is my exp with many , some from good hospitals
My aunt had a similar experi when she had an xray taken.Being a biology teacher had a doubt why formation of one bone was in an odd way. The doc without speaking, ordered xray of the other arm and then showed her: see they are same. so it is ok! just to prove a point!!! as if talking to a moron!!!
MY FRIEND is now sick. fever relapsed twice. But she is not willing 2 go 2 a doc watever i say.Bcoz she doesnt like the "I KNO ALL, U KNO NOTHING" ATTITUDE!!!ur views,exp?

You may be right,I too have heard of such callousness and absence of basic ethics of the Medical Profession among practising Medical Practitioners.In fact, such doctors could create fresh disorders, known as 'iatrogenic' i.e.,doctor induced ,disorder!
A true doctor must be 1. Holistic( consider individual as a whole, not just the symptoms but his thoughts, emotions,desires also as they are all linked), 2.Patient centred(rather than doctor centred,technique centred,medicine centred), 3.make patient self reliant(rather than doctor dependent forever!) and,4. Service oriented.

it depends y u chose to go to a particular doc........ bcos his professional charges are less( thats the attitude with most indians/ even nris/ pios etc) .. or bcos he is easily available next door/ or bcos ur friend told he is good
choose right doc/ institution and the problem is solved
my doctor friend tells me 85-90% of patients feel explanations are given only by bachaas( juniors ) in field. so he stopped giving explanations to them ... and it wonderfully works...
its unfortunate u/we are a minority in this india, who needs explanations

go to a bigger hospital , were specialist are avialble, they wil guide u in betwer way
