Why don't people understand that life can be a result of right decisions, hard work and discipline?

If I'm not a single mother of 5 because I understand the responsibility that comes with each child and chose not to get pregnant. If I spent the majority of my life getting an education, putting myself in student loan debt, took minimum wage jobs and worked myself up because I understood the importance of marketing myself and work ethics, as opposed to sitting on my butt and waiting for the invisible hand to help me out. If I would have rather saved my money for investment rather than going out to clubs or buying clothes. If I chose not to get involved with the wrong crowd, drained and distracted by men who are jerks---how can that be called "luck?" And why am I supposed to feel guilty for enjoying my position?

Not all at once but throughout the years. I have had group therapy. one on one therapy, hospitalizations and no matter what I try I still fantasize about my death. I currently have a cronic illiness that will end up in death anyway. What should I do? Am I wasting your tax dollars by living? Is suicide in my situation such a bad thing?Am I not a coward for never being succesfull? Will further treatment help.? Is EST worth it? Serious responses only! No hubub about how life is so worth living I dont need fluffy newage fantasies of emotion.

Poverty around the world

I have been having these dreams for a few months now. The first one was a house that I had bought. I found what I would call a whole new wing of the house. There were rooms filled with old furniture and lovely old toys. The further I explored, the more I found.

In another dream I was visiting a friend that had bought this beautiful home and while I was looking around this house I found, yet again, another collection of rooms. There was a large collection of rooms, multiple bedrooms, bathrooms, a small kitchen. I was trying to talk my friend into letting me move in with them and live in this other part of the house.

In another dream I went to look at a house my father bought. It had hidden rooms in his basement. In each room there was beds and other beautiful things. And in one was a dream where the rooms were hidden in the attic.

These were always previously unknown, filled with treasures, and I always suggest to the owner that it would be nice if I could live there.

My daughter is 15. She loves scary movies. She has never had a problem. She watched these Zombie movies and now she is afraid of Zombies. I don’t know what to do. She actually goes over in her head escape routes and where we can hide in case something like that happens. She has nightmares about it and all. She knows that they are not real but for some reason can not get them out of her head. I never had nightmares like this when I was her age nor did I fear things that were not real. I did not allow her to watch these kind of movies until recently and it is only Zombie movies not others and I still have to watch it first before she can watch it. Can someone tell me how to get her past this.

For a couple of years now I have felt removed from reality. I take everything in stride and nothing seems to get a reaction out of me whether it is good or bad. For example, I recently found out a family member has cancer, and yet I don't feel very upset about it. It is like I have lost my passion for life. I'm not depressed.... I just feel unaffected by things that go on around me.
Also, I feel very absorbed with my own thoughts. So much so that I end up becoming unaware of things going on around me. It seems like my mind is constantly jumping from one subject to another. I have a hard time listening to others and absorbing what they say. If I try to focus on listening to the person, then I end up becoming wrapped up in that thought and end up tuning out the individual speaking.

Its driving me crazy, and I know I should see a shrink. I don't have the funds as of now, and would like some insight into this.

Does anyone know what might be the problem?

And not for being women? Given that feminists are overwhelmingly homely and given that most responded in agreement to my question below and given that the responses also seem to reject equalizing the playing field based on beauty-discrimination, does it stand to reason that feminists simply oppose men because men have rejected them based on their looks?

Ok so I had this dream the night after I went to my fiance's christmas party with his co workers. In the dream, I'm sitting across my fiance at a table and his co worker (who is sort of a rival of his) is sitting right next to me. His co worker starts joking and putting his arm around my waist and then starts trying to kiss my neck. I keep pushing away and i'm disgusted and repulsed by this and am getting more and more angry. I look over to my fiance to do something about it and he seems to be just as mad as me but he's not doing anythingyet, as if waiting for his coworker to do something more extreme so he can fight him. I end up giving up waiting for my fiance to do something and finally break free and go outside for air. I'm so angry and then I find out that my fiance wants to break up, acting as though I wanted the co worker to do this to me even tho I didn't do anything to provoke it. it ends with me telling my fiance bitterly that I want to go home. hm...anyhelp w/ meaning?

Though I am normally a holiday person, I hate it this year and can't wait to get it over with. I also enjoy celebrating my bday but this year I didn't and when my family went against my wishes and threw me a bday party, I spend it in my room crying b/c I hated hearing people talk about me being a grown woman (I'm 21) when I feel like my life is going downhill and all dreams I had for the future, even normal ones like getting married and having children will never come true. I'm arguing w/ my parents about my upcoming graduation b/c college has been the loneliest time in my life and hate my major so I don't want to get a graduation picture, ring, or attend the ceremony. I've gained a ton of weight and don't care much about my looks anymore. I hate seeing ppl happy w/ friends b/c I have none. I went from a 3.7 GPA to a 2.5. I don't want to work or do anything other than stay in bed and sleep. My parents feel I'm being lazy but I just feel like something else is wrong with me.

I had a rather bizarre dream last night, that I gave birth to a baby, and I was feeding it water in a bottle, when suddenly I remembered I should breast feed,i guess in the dream I totally forgot I had breasts and had been feeding my baby wrong for a couple months. When I unbuttoned my shirt to fish out my breast,my nipples were inverted and hard to find, then I finally grabbed one and tried to squeeze some milk out but it was difficult, the milk became solid, like a white discharge and came out in ropes,i struggled with that and the baby couldn't suckle it,my left breast was completely no go so I tried my right,it was solid for a while but I kept trying and soon got it to go liquid a little, the baby could suckle but my milk supply was very low. What does this dream mean?I have not ever been pregnant. And I am not pregnant now.Yes I am a female age 27.and going through some life difficulties...Does it have something to do with the fact I wasn't breast fed?

In my dream I was standing on a hill in the middle of a sunny day. As I standing there with the sun beaming onto my face, as I was looking up at the sky I started to see what I would describe as stars falling out of the sky, it started as one then it was like a meator shower. In this dream I was trying to get people to look but they did not care. I need to stress even thought that it was like chaos all around I had a feeling of extreme calm.
