All art is subjective. I think that Ono's talent was/is in the concept of some of her artworks. Musically? Uh, no...that was love on John's part, to go along with that. My dog used to yowl in pain when my ex put on the Plastic Ono Band album, during Ono's solos.

I don't care for her type of art but that doesn't mean she is not an artist. She also did not break up The Beatles. They were already going off in different directions by the time she came along. Besides, isn't it great that they went out while still on top instead of hanging around and becoming pathetic caricatures of themselves like their contemporaries The Rollig Stones did? John could have had any woman in the world he wanted but he chose her because she had what he needed. The last years of his life were among his happiest. People should at least give her credit for that.

Her artistic talent escapes me, but she has certainly turned out to be a brilliant businesswoman and apparently a good mother. And a genius loved her passionately his whole life. Not bad.

i think she is lovely and talented. she was also very successful in japan great brittain and the usa in her own right before she met john. truly a woman who sacrificed her career to care for the man and child she loved so dearly.
