What's his rationale? education doesn't cure hunger and despair.
food and shelter help a lot if I'm not mistaken. why do we feed the world's homeless when people are starving and without hope and shelter right here in America.

The principles of economics influence your decision-making, interaction with others, and the economy as a whole. Give one example of how you are personally affected by each of the three areas. Are you affected positively or negatively? Explain your reasoning. How do budget constraints and personal preferences affect your choices as a consumer?

I work on an adolescent residential psychiatric unit. We do group activities with the kids all the time, but they get bored doing the same stuff over and over again. Does anyone have any ideas for a group activity? It does not need to be therapy based...team building activities and art activities are always good. Serious responses only please! Thanks for your help.

okay..so my mom tends to like be really controlled over my dad..like where he goes.and shes afraid that he cheats on her.so she tells him that he can't c people..and yes my dad had alittle affair before..but their not devorced yet.

my mom ses its because of me, she wants to keep the family up. she doesn't want us to loose a mom or dad or anything.

And so is it bad for my parents to keep in a relasionship?..if they probually of wouldn't of if they didn't have us?..

...and is being controlling over the husband like..a unhealthy thing in a relasionship?or is it common?

I experience a maddening infuriating sense of helplessness brought on by the lack of control over my life. I see no way out. My parents do not let me go out with friends, drive a car, have a boyfriend, or anything else all other 15-yr-olds do. They make me stay home and study whenever I am not at school.

I told them that I have a problem and that therapy may be a feasible solution, but they do not want to pay for it and do not let me work. As long as I get all A’s and stay safely locked up at home, there is no problem.

In health class, we learned that suicide is a cry for help. I considered attempting a suicide, but fear that I might end up killing myself. Aspirin overdose is the safest available methods and is among the most common for females my age.

I considered other alternatives, like failing a class, but I do not want to sacrifice my GPA. And besides it is not a fail-proof method. They might take away tv and computer, which will only add to my helplessness.

For about 4 years now, I have been having very vivid, romantic dreams about a man that I had a crush on since the time I was 5 years old (It's bene 17 years). We were next door neighbors, and very good friends growing up. I haven't seen him in 5 years, but I still keep in touch with his parents, so I know what's going on with him. The problem is, I've been happily married for 3 years, but every night, I have very vivid dreams of dating my friend, being in a passionate relationship with him, marrying him. And I've NEVER had one single dream about my husband. I admit, there have been some regrets on my part in the past for not pursuing a relationship with this man, but, like I've said...I'm very happily married. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I have to give a presentation for a class. It is a group presentation and i will have to talk in front of alot of people. I have terrible stagefright that makes it almost impossible to stand up in front of class and talk for more than 30 seconds.

I always get really nervous and i cant stop thinking about having to get up in front of everyone. Its really stupid i must say. I dont really care what people think about me most of the time, but when i get in front of people, i get really nervous and i know everyone can tell. My whole body shakes, even my lips, so it makes talking difficult. Also, i get so nervous that my heart starts beating really fast and i feel like im going to pass out. The worst part is that my breathing gets all out of wack and i cant say more than a few words without running out of breath.

Whenever we have to give group presentations, i either have someone else present my work, or i talk for about 30 seconds before i feel as thought i cant procede.

I work in a place where the "higher ups" do and say things that do not make any sense to me at all. Everything they do is backward, there is no communication, and the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. Does anyone else have to deal with this day after day?

Why do you guys post questions that are loaded with hate-bombs and then get pissed about the answers? Do you really expect everyone (or for that matter - ANYONE) to agree with you?
I know I sure don't, and get my butt handed back to me on a platter on a regular basis! :)

But at least I try to respect what others think and not just throw inflammatory remarks at them. If I don't agree, I use sarcasm - which I think is less harmful (but that's just me).

Is this a "dish it but can't take it forum"?
