The people who emote with their minds are going to answer yes, and the ones who emote with their hearts will say no. That's because the mind KNOWS what is right-logical. The heart is too caught up in how it feels-id & ego.

I totally believe emotion should be intellectualized! If we did, we wouldn't have cheaters, because they would understand that, Oh instead of cheating, I can just A) talk to the person I am about to cheat on--maybe fix the relationship a bit B) break up with the person I am about to cheat on or C) NOT CHEAT! Because, A) it will hurt my partner's feelings B) damage their trust in me and/or C) the act of cheating may cause me to become confused as to what I really want.

Life would be easier, because you would now be able to analyze what is going on faster and easier. And Everyone would make better decisions in their lives, instead of LEARNING from their mistakes all the time.

To answer your question, it is since emotions are mixed with how one realizes and judgment between right and wrong and that is why there is an Emotional IQ created.
