I work in a place where the "higher ups" do and say things that do not make any sense to me at all. Everything they do is backward, there is no communication, and the left hand never knows what the right hand is doing. Does anyone else have to deal with this day after day?

Yeah. Bosses are mostly saying that no matter how hard I work or how good my work is, it is never good enough for them. It's a cheap way to keep from having to give anyone a raise.

It's the old joke: BOSS is nothing but a backwards double S O B...

But, with the shoe on the other foot, just try to get a decent day's work out of someone you're paying good money to. You might seem a little backwards to them, too.

That's why I mostly worked for myself. That way, I know I understood my boss... and if I didn't or couldn't get the job done, I didn't get chewed out for it.... :P

don't go there for your own sake it sounds like you will only understand fragments of what they do. try looking at it from a survival type thing. make clicks - move on. Worry about the higher ups if you get promoted and they expect your feedback / right now it seems they are not..

yes of course,
seems nutty but yes, try to see if you can make sense of it. IF you can't then look for another job if you can. Good luck
