It certainly can add to it I would think. Most people who have long term boredom are really suffering from depression. Depression makes you not able to enjoy anything so you may think you are bored when it is just the illness of depression that is not allowing you to enjoy things. Lack of money certainly adds to this as it is not easy to do something different or get a change of scenery when you don't really have the money.
I know you said that you are unable to work at this time and that certainly will drive you nuts. Many people go into a depression if they are unable to work for whatever reason; too ill to work, no work in their area, etc.
Honey, I think your depression and the stress of your situation is getting to you. I don't think you would feel bored if your depression was under control or if you weren't anxious about school, financial aid, etc.
I hope things improve for you soon.

Nope.
There's always SOMETHING to occupy oneself with.
Extreme loneliness (the aforementioned "cabin fever") can get to person...but boredom? Nah!

z person would have only themselves to blame - you would argue but there are a million things you can do to entertain or break up the boredom. Unless you belong amongst the ELITE and cannot find yourself.

only in cases of cabin fever,,,forced to stay inside in the winter and cannot venture outside..for months at a time...
I think one contrives ones on insanity...if you are a boring person, not intelligent enough to find things to do,task to perform, games to play, windows to wash, floors to clean, laundry to do,,,then yes you should be bored.
