I'm looking for a book on hypnosis, not like magic hypnosis but a book thats informative and interesting that has content about actual research on hypnosis, I've been looking around but all I can find are little play books, I want a serious book.

try wikipedia and the article on Milton Erickson. there is a listing of his books suggest " let my words go with you." this is top grade work and most if not all modern hypnisis is based on it. Not fun reading written on a post grad+ level.

I would look at this site and evaluate what it says and the relevance as to whether it's really cutting edge and if the demystification is true. tran4mind. com Youtube might interest you also, if you haven't heard it.
