You'll find all you need to know about stuttering at www.stutteringhelp.org. Remember that anyone can edit information that is on wikipedia, so that is not a reliable source.

Stuttering is the same thing as not being able to think clearly. Stuttering, from what i can tell, is caused by lack of concentration on saying what you want to say, but instead---focusing on how what you're saying sounds, on what the other person is or may be thinking and on how you're coming off. You knew the answer to this all along, didn't ya^^. When you're confident of yourself...aka when you're drunk...you don't stutter--why because when you're confident there's no reason to worry about those things which are making you constantly seek approval outside of yourself.

Remember that it's mostly never a physical problem, ok? If you stutter once, you probably stutter more because you feel/fear that you are going to stutter again! This is called insecurity..Like someone reminding you of all the bad things and slip-ups you've made and making you more nervous the next time you try to do something Right. It's the same thing. Therefore, sweetie, what you have to do is think SUPER positively about your normal, everyday speech...convince yourself that you are totally normal, that you have none of this disability business, and that in truth you have just truthfully brainwahsed yourself into thinking that you are defective with a stuttering problem. Convince yourself that the next time you'll talk, you will have absolutely nothing to worry about--because the words will jsut flow right out--just SAY what's on your mind--SAY it. The total truth, I assure you, honey, is, ----You have no problem and you are completely normal!!---- I swear to you. This is the truth. Remind yourself every time--don't let ANY other thought squirm it's way back in btw--!!Don't LET it!. You can do it, trust me^^. You are completely and absolutely normal....And anything anyone else can do---you are totally completely and perfectly capable of doing yourself! Yes, Really!, remember that you never had a problem and you don't have it now. Remember that your problem lies in thinking that you do and so focusing on how to cover it up --which actually is the whole cause. So--knwo this--^^You have been completely cured--I bid you completely cured of this thing you have brainwahsed into yourself. You are not like this, and in truth you speak jsut like any other person.

Lots of love.

The basic information is here:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stuttering

There was a show on TV recently on the benefits of pot, where one lady who stuttered was noticably helped by smoking it... it relaxes the mind and muscles involved. Too bad it's illegal. I wonder when the Feds will quit practicing medicine without a license and let our physicians determine what's good for us. And it would be nice if the Feds would quit persecuting people in states where the voters have had their vote honored and pot for medical use was enacted as law. There was a time the individual states were free to enact thier own laws and run their own business. Those golden days are gone, and I sure miss them.
