I found a easy love spell to find out what the love of your life thinks of you, and the only think you have to do is Write the name of the person you are wondering about on a piece of paper. Fold the paper in half, then half again. Draw an eyeball on the outside of the folded page. Slip the page under your pillow and before bed repeat as follows:

With dreamers eyes I seek to see

What this person thinks of me.

Be it good or be it ill

Reveal to me as is my will

Close your eyes and picture this person sitting across a crowded room. The room is all a buzz with conversation you cannot hear clearly. This is gossip about you that this person started. It may be good things and/or it may be bad. As you move towards the person let yourself fall asleep. When you wake, jot down what you heard in your dream, particularly anything she/he said or did. The question is should I do it or not.

Here's a comment by Dr. Warren Farrell, thrice elected to the Board of Directors of NOW in NYC.

"After more than a decade of research for my book, WHY MEN EARN MORE, I discovered that men and women make 25 work-life choices that actually create a wage gap.

Men make decisions that result in their making more money. On the other hand, women make decisions that earn them better lives (e.g., more family and friend time)."

What are your thoughts on this NOW Director's findings? (The links contain summaries).

Has anyone read his book?

I'm going on a school trip to DC next week, and I have anxiety about it. Usually, I don't get anxiety, I'm never really stressed or anything, but now I do. I have anxiety about a things more often now, and don't really like to do any of the things I used to. A month ago I would have been really excited. It's really stressing me out. This isn't just with the trip though, and I have a feeling it has some other cause. What should I do?

OCD is normally thoughts that are not related to reality. Could OCD manifest it self into things like spending hours AND HOURS on the internet researching a common worry such as a health concern?

get off my computer, i know.

i'm fine with my friends and family of course, but i get REALLY nervous with casual friends and strangers.
usually all i can do when i meet them is smile and say polite things. i can't think of things to say. i just go completely blank.... and into a stupid smiley polite mode. it's ridiculous.

a similar thing happens when i try playing guitar for people. i'm fine by myself, but with people looking at me.... all i can think about is screwing up.

all advice appreciated.....
thanks.

I opened up an account for the third time last wk and I sit here and realize it just makes me feel bad about myself. It's just a popularity contest and a fake world. I've just been really bummed cuz I just started the nrsg program and feel bombarded w/ school and work with no time leftover to socialize...Myspace wasn't the answer. Myspace is childish...its a place to conform. I'm just going to act upon want I want in life and not lose myself in the process.

I have this theory that people who watch comedy movies are happier than people who watch drama. I need an experiment to test the theory that watching comedy versus drama makes people happier. I need 1- operationally defined independent variable 2- operationally defined dependent variable 3- experimental groups defined 4- procedure 5- participants (who could and how can I select?) 6-concernes or possible issues with the experiment.

Now, I have sucumbed to myspace and for some reason it i'm addicted and it kind of doesn't help me feel better...it actually makes me feel worse. I'm planning on to join a club next semester if time willing...any advice? Ah, being a grown-up is hard and reality stinks but I just hope I can find others that are mature and not collaboraters if u know what I mean.

I was wondering if you guys could help with something. I am a maths student at university, and all my life I considered myself to be a visual learner. Whenever I write notes in class, I use various colors to highlight between theorems, proofs and examples.

What I find interesting is that with this, I find it very hard to do two things. I often tune out of people's conversations, and do not always get the gist of what people are saying, or understand them. Also, I find reading passages of text hard. I often will read a newspaper article, and not remember what I read well. Also, I used to read many books when I was younger, but now I can't get through one.

Curiously too, whenever I watch the television, I always have subtitles- in my opinion hearing it and seeing it and reading it helps my understanding. Also in a psychology experiment, apparently i was 87% visual, 6% auditory, and 7% kinesthetic.

What do people make of this? Is this just a case of visual learning? Or something more?

im currently working on an essay for my english class, and the topic has to be something about race.

im thinking about writing about the racial inequality in the United States and Im going to use the racial wealth gap as example. Statistics show that racial minorities have higher unemplyment rates and lower average incomes. Is discrimation the ony thing to blame? Or are the racial minorities responsible for it also? Please explain. thanks

A few of my colleagues at work make fun of them for being on the losing side of a relationship. I told them that they shouldn't judge ladies like this.....they could be hurt themselves. Why this stereotype? It takes two to tango!

-Al-Qaeda claims to be a force fighting for Islam which is undersiege by non-believers

-The Government says they are Muslim Terrorists bent on murdering non-Muslims

-The media says they are Muslim terrorists slaughtering innocent people left and right

A lot of criminal organizations have somewhat benevolent origins. Al-Qaeda is no exception. It started out fighting against opressive regimes and to this day it is still fighting opressive regimes, at least in its own eyes.

Also like a lot criminal organizations, Al-Qaeda is very ritualistic with its religous customs. Take a look at the practices of the Sicilian Mafia or Japanese Yakuza.

Religion is the binding factor between the members of Al-Qaeda not the driving force. I think its safe to say the driving force is a thirst for power and that their motivations are politcal not religious.

The US Government officialy defines the Baby Boom Generation as all individuals born between 1946-1964. They really don't get to specific about either Generation X or Y. What years do you think should incorporate these three vastly different generations and why? Whether it's the self-centred baby boomers, or the slacking, cynical generation Xer's, or the over-protected, sheltered, community minded, "I'm entitled" generation Y types, every generation gets hanged with a label. Please think of this when trying to define an answer. It will help in trying to figure what historical events defined their generation, and ultimately which birth years seperate them.
